A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.
The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her.
When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her."
Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it? Repost this if you truly believe in God. PS: God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what, and if you stand up 4 him he will stand up for you. (a.k.a: He's watching you as you read this and seeing if you'll respect it!)
Dear Bullies, That boy you punched in the hall today; committed suicide a few minutes ago. That girl you called a slut in class today; she's a virgin. That boy you called lame; has to work every night to support his family. That girl you pushed down the other day; is already being abused at home. You think you know them. Guess what, you don't. Copy and Paste this to your profile if you are against the mean bullying. I bet 99% of you wont!!
Hey, my name is Angelina, I've been a member on Booksie for a while now... um... yeah, it's going great(: I'm changing up my profile bio a bit since the one I had before is like old. Anyway... um... I'm a poet, as you may already know because I mostly have poems up in my portfolio, I'm starting to write novels and short stories and all that other good stuff now because I've had a ton of great story ideas on my mind since... well forever (; If you guys want and I'm always available to do this... but if you want I can write down a story from whatever title you can come up with all you have to do is e-mail me: email@example.com
I've been through a tough time recently but that's a good thing because it gives me more lines to do some poetry !! I'm a huge, huge fan of Kristen Stewart, she's amazing, & if you comment in my messages talking shit about how she 'cheated' I WILL REMOVE YOUR COMMENT, so just don't bother bringing it up. I LOVE the bands: Paramore, Hinder, Seether, Rascal Flatts, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, 3 Doors Down, Saving Abel, 30 Seconds To Mars, Skillet (Christian Rock band), Linkin Park, and Theory of a Deadman. People tell me that I'm an amazing writer, but that's not all I want to hear, I want to hear things like, "you'll go far with these poems of yours." or "don't underestimate the skills you have, use them for writing and writing only, nothing useless." but I guess I'll just have to wait to hear those words from someone.
I'm just a member to share my poems and story ideas and answer questions related to poetry or stories, I'm NOT sharing my phone number or any other personal information, what-so-ever.
Anyway, I'm just probably another person to all of you but, it would be nice if you could read some of my poems and maybe even comment about what you think of them.
Thank you guys so much!
Always keep your head up and never back down from something you really want to have in life! <3 (:
