"Man, we are so screwed! They're coming." Taegan says pacing back and forth. He mutters to himself some more before finally crashing on the couch.
"Okay, wait let's think this over." I say sounding shakier than I wanted to. I clear my throat, "This house is leased to someone named Jake Ross. None of us are named Jake Ross. They won't find us here." I offer to my 3 friends sitting in front of me in the house we bought for ourselves. I can tell neither of them is buying it.
"They will find us anywhere! They're the freaking German Mob for crying out loud!" I look up at the ceiling wondering how we got to this point. "Ricky this is all your fault! If you hadn't gotten us involved with that nutjob friend of yours we wouldn't be in this position." Tae exclaims.
"This is not my fault." Ricky says quietly. He looks up from the floor in Tae's direction. "How about you calm down?"
"How about you do us all a favor and call your buddy. Oh right, you can't."
"Everything will be fine!" Rick shouts annoyed. "We just have to get rid of everything."
"No! I'm so tired of you saying that everything will be fine. Face the facts, Ricky. We have a bunch of items that aren't ours, the guy who gave it to us, your friend, if I might add, has disappeared off the face of the freaking Earth. We're done. finito, fried." Tae finishes, sighs and slumps back into his seat. I can't help but know he's right.
"Both of you just shut up for a second." I exclaim. "Ricky, it isn't your fault, but you are the one that got us involved with that guy. You must know something about him that can help us. I agree with you, we need to get rid of all the stuff, pronto." Ricky looks at me and springs off the couch.
"Then let's take a walk to the basement. I just remembered something."
