This is a book review of a story I might write. It is based in a world where homosexuality is the "norm" and heterosexuality is forbidden. It centers around two people who have feelings for each other but are of the opposite sex. It shows that having feelings for someone who you should't is not a choice but is the way you feel.

Due to an overpopulation of people and a lack of resources, a scientist called Dr Hardwin comes up with an idea to prevent overpopulaton from occurring. He invents a vaccine that will make people become attracted to the same sex to stop reproduction. However, what he doesn't realise is that his vaccine might not work on everyone.

The story focuses on the two people who the vaccine did not work on.

There is Jane, a sixteen year old girl, who feels like she doesn't belong. Every girl her age is attracted to girls but she isn't. She has feelings for a boy, but she hides her feelings from him because it is unacceptable to be attracted to the opposite sex.

...And Lucas, the boy Jane likes, who also is attracted to Jane but is afraid to tell her how he feels because it is forbidden.

In a world where homosexulaity is the "norm" and heterosexuality is forbidden, how will Jane and Lucas get to be together? This story would test the boundaries set by society and would show people that sometimes loving someone who you shouldn't is not a choice.
