Rein's tests flew by in a blur of needles and nurses. Adrian stood by Rein's side the whole time, their hands intertwined. When the final test was over, Rein looked at Adrian silently begging to be free of this place. He squeezed her hand and told her to get dressed, her clothes had been in the closet the whole time, while he went and got the form to sign her out. Rein pulled on her favorite jeans, she probably wouldn't be able to consider them that anymore because every time she looked at them, they would remind her of that horrible night. She shuddered and pulled on her t-shirt. She was tying her shoe laces when Adrian came in and said that they were free to go.

Walking into her apartment was a huge relief to Rein, she sighed and walked over and stretched out on her couch, she spotted the pack of cigarettes on the cofee table and grinned. Adrain pulled her feet into his lap as she lit up a cigarette, and watched as she closed her eyes with the first drag. A slow smile spread on her lips. "So, what do you wanna do today?" Adrian asked as he massaged her left foot. Rein shrugged and sighed, "I don't know, right now I'm enjoying this cigarette and foot massage, you tell me what you want to do today." Rein replied resting her head on the arm rest and sighing. There was a long pause and Rein reluctantly opened her eyes and studied Adrian's strained expression, "What's the matter?" She asked sitting up onto her elbows. "Are you sure you're alright? Maybe you should rest some more...we could watch a movie." Adrian said, focusing on his hands as they worked on Rein's foot. Rein's eyes narrowed on him, trying to figure him out. "Yeah, a movie sounds cool. But you don't have to worry Adrian, I'm fine, I promise. I wouldn't lie to you." She said nudging him with her free foot. He smiled at her, "Alright, I believe you. But if you start feeling funny again, say something. Okay?" He said moving onto the right foot. " I will. " Rein said smiling at him reasuringly. He smiled back, "Okay."
