The rest of that day went by with surprising speed, I went home after school, and cleaned the house up a bit and before long I was asleep. The morning wasn’t slow either, I went to the clearing ate and drank, took a bath in the pond and before long I was walking through school doors, and then standing in front of the meeting room.

I hesitated to open the large door but when I did I was warmly greeted by other members of the group, I guess Rasheem was right, this wasn’t really a gang after all, but what was it, and what was with the lion hand and the fully covering black cloaks, the weird nickname, and my father, nothing made sense. That meeting didn’t last long, and after neither Alkerrai nor Rasheem came, I left and decided to walk around the empty halls. Other classes were in session and it seemed like I was the only one there, until someone came up behind me. I stood completely still as two arms suddenly rested on my shoulder, their hands crossing in front of me. I looked to the side as a head rested itself on my shoulder. All I could see was a profile and strands of silver hair.

“You have an unsteady heartbeat.” The voice was beautiful and clear, but still with a hint of recognizable venom. “Y-your” I felt him pull back and I quickly turned around, and gasped. Standing behind me was an eighteen year old boy. He was taller than me, and his dark silver hair covered parts of his eyes, but one of them was covered by a black patch. He was wearing baggy pants and a loose shirt that fitted perfectly with his unorganized hair. His one eye visible was a dark shade of navy blue, and his ears were hidden under his hair but I could still catch the glimmer of two left piercings with dissimilar earrings.

I still held my breath. “Are you…?” I could feel my face heating up, not once had I lost my calm around a guy, but keeping around him was impossible. He smirked “Your heart is still racing…” He leaned in closer, listing my chin up a little as he whispered in my ear “I would calm down…” I felt a chill run up my spine feeling his breath on my neck “Its too tempting.”

I was so much in a daze by then that I hadn’t realized that he passed me, and was making his way to the meeting. I lifted my hand up to my neck, shaking my head “What was that?” I whispered.

“Hurry up.” I heard him say from down the hall. “Y-yeah…” I muttered turning around and running after him.
