1/ meeting friends
One fine day, I woke up early in the morning (as usual). Every morning when I wake up I look around and refigure out that I am a volcano because I dream that I am a bird soaring above in the sky and go where ever I please, I often forget that I am a volcano, a very lonely volcano that is. Have I mentioned that I am a cinder cone volcano named, Cinder? Ironic isn't it? Anyway, I never notice it before but, I was alone I didn't have a friend to be with and erupt with, it was all done by myself and as a matter a fact I was so alone I felt I was LOST in myself. So I went about myself doing the usual things, standing looking beautiful and majestic as always, the occasional eruption, all to just to start it all over again ALONE! I've only been in alive for 9 years and in Iceland for 7 years and I'm still not used to this whole process. I guess even I find it weird that a volcano can move half across the world and stay there. Weird, right? Oh, I forgot to mention, I live in Volcano Ville, Iceland, which is about 225 miles from Reykjavik, the capital city.
The next morning, when I woke up, instead of waking up to the bright, shining sun, my new next door neighbor woke me up. That sure was a shock!
"What was that?" I yelled frantically, scared out of my mind.
"Uh, a little thing called a sneeze. You act like you've never heard one before." Said the new neighbor, "I have really bad allergies, sorry,"
"And a bad attitude too and how is that even possible, you are a volcano?" I questioned.
"I wouldn't be getting to smarty there if I were you, at least I didn't have the hick up's all night" She said with smirk.
"Whatever," I said very irritated, "anyway I'm Cinder, who are you, where are you from, and why are you in Iceland, MY 'glorious' home?" I questioned rolling my eyes.
"I'm Shield but you can call me Shell, and I'm from Boise, Idaho. I'm in Iceland because, I just turned old enough to start living on my own and I wanted to spread my lava else ware. Like in this little town if that's even what you call it? It looks like a barren desert slash dump to me. I also thought I could show my parents that I can do things on my own, and responsibly." She explained.
"So, in other words you were mysteriously dissolved into the earth and then moved over across the world…whoa, hang on there, time out, little? Did you just call my town little? Shell, you're a long way from home, you call that little? To me it isn't little, it's just HOME and you need to start calling it that, if you're going to start living here but until that happens, don't talk to me on this matter ever again."
"Fine then, I was just trying to be neighborly!" She argued.
"Well you aren't doing a very good job of it!" I exclaimed.
"Hey!" She scolded.
After the big fight I just then realized what I'd done and how much I really cared about her. But the next day on April 4, 2002, my long awaited wish came true, we both erupted. The dust was so thick it was almost hypnotizing. The argument was also forgotten. The dust was that bad, it was crazy.
