The Peddler #4 Birth of Zephyrus

Hallo, just in case you didn't know I'll give you a recap of my previous episode, I captured an enforcer with a shuttle full of very powerful weapons, who was on a secret mission, he escaped so I had to kill him, then I went on planet Karn where I was attacked right away, then I went to the obsidian order HQ and got into another fight and then after that I got to the main office and met Mara, we left the planet and got my new ship, now I was on my way to get my crew, now time to get back to where I left off.

My new ship could go twice as fast as my old wolf class ship and was a lot better in combat situations than any ship I had ever seen. We were heading to a planet called Draniun 2 where I was going to meet the old gang and recruit them as my crew, just like old times. Suddenly a calm computer voice announced,  " This is the ship's radars speaking. I have detected two enforcer ships nearby but we are not detected. Do you wish to attack or remain in hiding?" The two large enforcer ships appeared on screen.

I turned to Mara annoyingly in my chair and asked " what's with the obnoxiously annoying computer voice, isn't there a way to... o I don't know, shut it up!" Without waiting for her to answer I ordered out loud " computer, don't give me bloody recommendations anymore, just keep quiet"

The computer responded " unable to comply, please re-state your order in a more logical and orderly fashion"

Mara seeing how exasperated I looked said out loud " computer, only use vocal functions when requested," The computer beeped in acknowledgment and then she turned to me and said " want to test out your new baby?"

I smiled and said, " I will take my wolf class ship and you take this one, we'll take them on alright? Goody" I walked off the bridge and into the hangar bay where waited my wolf class ship. I got in and ordered for the attack to begin.

The ship de-cloaked, me flying out of the hangar bay at the same moment. The enforcers were caught off guard, Mara fired five photon torpedoes at the enemy's shields trying to disable them, destroying them completely. I swept over the large enforcer ship firing my disruptors disabling their shields, I signaled Mara. Her face appearing on the screen, " keep the ships intact, they might have something useful in them" she nodded and acknowledgment and shut the link. As the first ship drifted uselessly the other enforcer ship came into action, ignoring me it targeted the avenger's shields, firing a full barrage of disruptors at its shields. The shields were damaged but remained intact, that's when I came into action, I fired five photon torpedoes at its shields. As they went off Mara fired one photon torpedo on the engine, blowing a big hole in the ship, disabling it.

She signaled me, as she appeared on my screen she said, " your ship is pretty good for an old one. Or maybe it's her captain."

I smiled and replied " this baby still got a lot of kick in her. With transporters I want you to target the whole crew and transport them down to the nearest planet which is..." I pressed on my computer console, checking scanners for the nearest planet, finding it I continued, " Dranius 1, they'll live a good life there" As she did so I docked back into the ship.

As I walked unto the Bridge she said " I've transported everything that could possibly be sold in cargo bay 2"

I replied " good, now I am going to take a nap, if you would be so kind as to bring us to Dranius 2, and please wake me up yourself. I don't want that damn computer voice waking me up" before leaving I turned ran to the computers and wrote in co-ordinances, turning to Mara I said " and make sure we park on these exact headings"

She looked curiously and asked " why? Your not popular in that town either?"

I pretended to laugh and answered, " no missy Mara, I happen to know that the docking stations are crummy as hell and I don't want no one knowing I have this ship. Plus I get to ride my hover bike, good night"

Cold water was splashed on me, I jumped with a jolt grabbing my gun and pointing it straight at Mara. She stood over me, smiling innocently with an empty bucket she replied " were here, you're a deep sleeper" I dried myself quickly and put my coat back on with all my weapons.

We walked to the hangar bay where there were two hover bikes[1] Mara turned to me and said, " you expect me to drive that piece of junk, have my own" she opened a crate and in it was the newest hover-bike, all clean and reflective.

I got on my bike, putting on an old antique pilot helmet with goggles as the doors opened I turned to her and said " remember where we parked" I drove out quickly, leaving her behind. As I drove along in the desert she quickly caught up, I laughed at her as sand hit her in the face and said mockingly " I hope you don't get too dirty." She gritted her teeth and ignored my comments as we headed to the town of Etobicoke.

The town was packed with humans and Drackonians[2], I had decided to keep my armor on but it was a hot day even in Drackonian standards. Mara however had her light armor with temperature control, so she wasn't hot. Well she was but you get what I mean.

She asked me in a loud voice since the streets were crowded " so, where are your friends?"

I stopped walking in front of a bar called " Dracko's place and pointing at it said, " Here we are"

She looked at me skeptically and said " another bar, are you sure about this?" I walked in as she followed; the bar looked like it belonged in a cowboy movie. Except for the lack of human presence, they all looked at us strangely since we were humans. So in this case we were aliens, but I think you get the point.[3] Suddenly one of them yelled out loud " its our good buddy Frederico!" they all cheered and greeting me into the bar, not knowing Mara I continued for him " and Mara!" they all repeated me and cheered for her as well. She whispered to me " your name is Frederico?" I ignored her and walked to the bar counter.

The bartender, which had four arms came to us and asked " and what will you have buddy"

I grinned and replied " get the gang and tell them to group up in back, tell them I got a big gig for them" I led Mara to the backroom and we sat at a round wooden table. then 5 drackonians walked in, the tallest of them was Salvatore who was 7,5 feet tall, with silver scales, long jet-black hair, blood red eyes, and very muscular. After him Fernando walked in, he had brown scales, short blond hair, lime green eyes, and also muscular. Then Virgil walked in, he was 6,5 feet tall, with copper scales, long light brown hair, right yellow eyes and muscular. Then Maurice walked in, he was 5,11 feet tall with blue scales, spiked blue hair, florescent blue eyes and equally as muscular as Salvatore, then the bartender Logan walked in, he was the shortest at a size of 5,5 feet tall, with gold scales, bald, light brown eyes and 4 very muscular arms, and the last to come in, was Monroe, he was 7,0 feet tall, black scales, long dark brown hair, fiery red eyes, and the most muscular of them all[4]

I clapped my hands and smiled, Monroe asked in his superior tone " so what is this big gig you've obtained for us peddler, better be something big. I was interrupted from a very important game of earth scramble."

I nodded and replied, " It's as big as it gets. The gig is to smuggle five powerful nukes onto the Emperor's home planet and blow it up to rubble. Plus you get to be part of my crew on the avenger class ship I got" They all agreed to join me, I gave them the co-ordinances to the ship and we left for it.

In the ship Maurice was admiring the scanners, since they were the latest stuff, Salvatore, Fernando and Virgil were in the weapons bay admiring the weapons, they already had picked 6 guns each, but Monroe was checking the engines and tuning them up rather than admiring them, they all got ready and left. I asked Mara " where is the destination?"

Se replied " you'll find out when we get there" then she walked up to the radio and asked Monroe " do you think Zephyrus is ready to go warp speed"

Monroe answered " Yep, just don't go faster than warp 8 and maybe we wont blow up" Ten she asked me " permission to go warp 8 sir"

I looked at her and said " why you asking me, you're the one driving, you drive the way you want"

Bt then Maurice said in a agitated voice " we got a big enforcer freighter on scanners, its cargo consist of 50 quantum torpedoes, and the rest is very powerful weapons"

 I asked " how many enforcers"

" 20 of em sir, we can handle them no problem" said Maurice,

Salvatore said " so, we going to kick  some enforcer but, yeah!" and then I cloaked the ship and we got ready for the raid.  Salvatore was armed with 2 double barrel shotguns, 2 drackonian pistols3 and 2 enforcer knives, Maurice was armed with only one weapon, his old turex chaingun4, Logan was armed with his one and very unique gun, the tri-dimensional pistol5Fernando was armed with 6 enforcer pistols. Monroe wasn't armed with guns, he was armed with 2 medium sized energy sabres6 and you all know my weapons. So I ran up to the bridge, and signaled them, then the screen blinked on and there stood an enforcer, he seen me and knew who I was, he asked " where are you peddler!"

I replied" no hello, how rude. But anyway, I'm right behind you" and before he was ready I decloaked right behind him and disabled both the freighter's shields. Me, Salvatore and Logan were the first group, and Monroe, Maurice and Fernando were the second group. I asked Mara if she wanted to join our little raid but she said " I hate this, this is piracy"

I replied " your at war with the people, wars always have casualties"

She looked angry and yelled " I wont be involved in your crimes, once I don't need your help I'll focus my attention on catching you and your friends"

I smiled and said " that will be fun eh" and left. We transported on the freighters, the inside of the ship was large but very dull, then enforcers arrived so we started shooting at them, some of them fell, the others fired and hit us back, but they were drackonians and I had my armor so it didn't affect us, we kept on firing while advancing on them, then suddenly security turrets came out of the walls, I yelled " lets find cover!" and we started running back while firing at the turrets and enforcers.

All of a sudden the big enforcer who had killed my father appeared behind us, before I could react I was hit away, but Logan punched him as hard as he could with all 4 arms and then Salvatore was about to shoot him when the enforcer kicked his guns away and jumped over him, hitting Logan down. Then he quickly turned around and went to hit Salvatore but Sal quickly turned and blocked the attack, then he went to punch him out when he got stabbed in the side and fell unconscious, then the enforcer received a very hard punch from Logan, hurting his jaw but not breaking it, then the enforcer kicked Logan in the gut, and then punched him out. Then he turned to me, so I quickly threw 2 knives which both got him in the chest, then 2 more knives appeared slipped down my sleeves and I jumped at him, but the enforcer swung his arm and hit me away against the wall, knocking the air out of me, then before I blanked out I seen him laughing at me, then it all went blank.

When I woke up the first thing I realized was that I couldn't move anything but my head, then I looked around and seen Salvatore, Maurice, Logan were all tied down in big iron chairs, then I noticed a big open air duct. Then I started hearing the consistent humming of the artificial gravity generators, and then noticed 2 enforcer guards, with unusual armor, then the giant enforcer walked in the room, he seen me awake and smiled, then said " as you have probably realized you are temporarily paralyzed from the neck down, that way you wont do anything... naughty, even though we've stripped you of your armor and weaponry"

I looked down and realized it was true, then I looked up and smiled. He looked puzzled for a second, then asked " what you smiling about!" and he punched me in the jaw, blood trickled.

I started laughing and said " you haven't found my ship now have you, or Monroe, you really do suck" then I received another punch, but I kept on laughing and said " you actually think you can kill me, bring it on" and then he yelled " shut up!" so I said in a mocking tone, you cant handle a small puny human such as me" he punched me again, then suddenly I could move. He told put his knuckles up, smiled and said " your move" so I smiled and dived into the air duct, the guards went to catch me when the giant said " leave him, he wont survive".

I yelled as I slid down the duct, then I heard this noise so I put my legs on the sides to slow my descent and realized it was a big fan with blades powerful enough to kill me, so I slowly stopped and then seen a small hole and jumped through it, and landed hard in the cargo room.

I got up slowly, and looked around. The room was full of crate loads of enforcer armor, so I grabbed one my size, then walked out, passing by guards who looked confused when they seen me get out. I walked and luckily enough found the armory so I grabbed 2 enforcer pistols and then walked out, suddenly someone behind me said " halt" so I stopped and stood back straight in a enforcer salute, then said " sir" he looked me over and said " I don't recognize you, are you new"

I looked all around and said " to tell you the truth I am new, I'm a little lost, I was supposed to be at the transporters room"

The enforcer examined me more, and then said, " Just go straight and turn left. You are dismissed" so I walked away, then suddenly I heard a thump in back so I looked back and seen Monroe standing over the dead body of the enforcer, and then he said " lets get the others, it seems as though Fernando has joined the enforcers and informed them of our location, we must release our comrades"

Then we heard Fernando's voice from behind " I cant let you do that" but then before anything could happen we were all beamed aboard Zephyrus, and so was Fernando. Monroe punched him in the jaw, which sent him against the wall, Logan and Salvatore held Monroe behind, but then Monroe explained Fernando's deception and for the first time I seen the fury of the drackonian.

Fernando got up quickly but was punched by Logan, he recovered quickly and jumped over Logan, kicking him against the wall, the Maurice and Salvatore held Fernando by the arms as Monroe started punching him hard in the chest, but Fernando flipped Sal and Maurice and managed to kick Monroe in the jaw but it didn't hurt him, then Monroe breathed his fire and started burning Fernando alive, the smell of burnt scales spread quickly, but he got out of the flames and punched Monroe full force in the jaw with no effect, then he received a full assault from Logan, punching him very quickly with all 4 arms and then got kicked against another wall. Fernando was bleeding all over now, and then when Monroe was about to finish him off he pressed a button and was transported out of there.

Monroe yelled in anger and punched where his head had been, leaving quite a dent in the wall, I left with Mara and she said " now we do the raid my way" we all quickly got to the bridge and Mara went in action, " Sal, concentrate fire on engines only, for both ships" the ship decloaked and they started firing, but the enforcers fired back shaking the ship violently, so then she ordered Logan who was at transporter control to transport all their cargo so he did it and then I ordered " Kill them now Logan" he fired five photon torpedoes at their engines, the whole ship blew up.. Then Mara said " now we get to work" and she drove the ship to her destination. I sat in my command chair, but the air on the bridge was a depressing one. Everyone feeling down because of the betrayal, so I tried to lighten up the scene. " I think I have the perfect name for this ship, Zephyrus"

Monroe looked at me strangely and asked inquisitively " where did you get that name from? Is it part of some kind of human myth?"
I spun my chair until I faced him and replied, " Indeed it is, the god personifying the gentle wind of the west. Don't argue, it is what it is ok? Ok." And we continued to Mara's destination.

[1] A hover bike is like a motor cycle that looks way cooler and floats over the ground, with hidden compartments where I could hide more weapons.

[2] A drackonian is kind of like a person, except there skin is like that of a reptile, they have very sharp teeth, they have 5 times the strength of the strongest human. As amazing as they sound, there's something even more incredible about them, they have different types of drackonians, each type has the abilities of a certain type of reptile.

[3] I know, they had seen humans before. But it just wasn't known for humans to walk into this bar, far too rough for normal humans.

[4] Well, all the gang were all different type of drackonians, Salvatore was a Komodo dragon type drackononian which meant if he bit you as good as dead, plus he was a very good fighter. Fernando was a Jesus type, you know that's what they call the lizards that can run on water, that's what he could do that was special, plus he was very strong. No one knew what type of drackonian Virgil was he could leap very far, and had very sensitive senses. Maurice was a chameleon type, I think its kind of self-explanatory, Logan was another unknown type of drackonian. But Monroe was the most powerful of them all, he was a dragon type so he could fly, breathe fire, jump far distances, highly sensitive senses, razor sharp teeth, and more that no one even knew, but they were my buddies.

3 Drackonian pistols are about twice the size of an enforcer pistol, and fire energy bolts that burn through almost everything.

4 Well, you know in helicopters they have chainguns that fire like 500 rounds per second, well this one he could hold up himself, it fired a 1000 rounds per second and had 200000 rounds in total, and plus he had upgraded it so it fired plasma rounds, which can shoot through nearly everything.

5 The tri-dimensional pistol came from a far future, it fired 3 rounds who went faster than the ordinary bullet, about 5 times the speed.

6 Energy sabers are kind of like the lightsabres from this earth movie called starwars, it activates like a lightsabre but when it activates its formed like a scimitar, and it can cut through nearly everything.
