We Are Always Searching Part I

You are not Jewish.
You are not Christian.
You are not straight.
You are not gay.
You are a human being.

You are not special.
You are not unique.
You are one of billions of others
just like you.

Your personality: Not unique.
Your eyes: Not unique.
Your hair colour: Not unique.
Your feelings, your thoughts,
your actions, your words (these words),
you will never be unique.

There are thousands or
carbon copies
of your flawed self.
Therefore there can be no soul mates.
We are all the same.
Who you think is perfect for you
is just as perfect for someone else.
Who you think is perfect for you
thinks they're perfect for someone else.

It is implausible and
ineffably impossible that
you could find your soul mate.

I am not special.
I am not unique.
But she is.
It's impossible and
ineffably impossible.
But she is.

She looks like I spell perfect,
but she's perfect for someone else.
