Poem about small mobile plants on another world, which resemble insects

Insectlike plantlets
Little mites that live between
Layers of tree bark,
Containing chlorophyll and
Converting food from sunlight.

Mobile plants able
To move round like animals,
Sucking nutrients
From the trees and other plants,
That they burrow around in.

Harmlessly they move
Around the bark like insects,
Burrowing about
Digging deep into the wood,
Of the plants they live upon.

THE END
