EXT. SPACE - DESTINY - ORBIT - BELARIA
Destiny is in orbit of a world that is half sea and half
land, and the land is half desert and half forests of
different types. The sea is split in half by a chain of
islands that go around the equator, looking like stepping
stones. Its a truly bizarre sight.
FADE TO:

EXT. BELARIA - CLEARING/VILLAGE
A small clearing on the edge of the rain forest, with the
desert visible in the distance. In the middle there is a
courtyard with a market, crowded with people.
CUT TO:
3.
EXT. BELARIA - MARKET
Maj. Moore, Maj. Emerson, and Cap. Kiran are navigating the
throng while looking intently at every booth.(NOTE: All the
aliens we see are humanoid, with very little prosthetics,
but enough to make them different from us.) The aliens pay
our team no mind.
MOORE
This is impossible!
He looks at another booth and shakes his head.
MOORE
This planet is not selling
anything useful!
He sighs in frustration.
KIRAN
(O.S)
Major!
PAN:
To see her standing next to a booth that is selling swords,
that, among other things, have hefty handles that are jewel
encrusted. The man behind the both looks at them, then
shrugs.
SELLER
Are you fine people interested in
these excellent examples of
craftsmanship? See, this one here
would look wonderful over your
furnace, and would make any man
think twice!
He holds up one of the more jeweled looking ones.
MOORE
Do you have any...more useful ones?
As the seller frowns and turns to rummage in the back of his
tent, Jennifer turns to him.
EMERSON
(low)
A useful one would not be what Dr.
Jackson wants. The one he showed us
first would have worked.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 4.
MOORE
I like to sword fight. Maybe you
should get one too. I’ll teach you
if you want.
He smiles at her. She smiles slightly and turns back to the
seller, who has brought out a plain looking simple sword
with a sheath.
SELLER
I don’t think you’d want this, it
belonged to one of the Scourge.
KIRAN
The Scourge?
The sellers eyes open wide.
SELLER
You must come very far from the
tropic if you are not aware what
the Scourge are.
They grin sheepishly. The seller’s eyes open wider.
SELLER
They are the desert
dwellers, raiders. We are on the
brink of war with them, we have to
support of the Aquanauds, and the
city dwellers, but they are
overwhelming in numbers. Even with
our allies help, they out number us
three to one.
MOORE
I don’t mind. What do you want for
it?
SELLER
Bah! Its a curse, you may take it!
He quickly hands the sword off to him. Jennifer looks at him
in surprise.
KIRAN
We will also take this sword, and
those three.
She points at the biggest, most jewel encrusted sword in the
booth, then at two others, which look a lot simpler. If
possible, the sellers eyes practically bug out.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 5.
SELLER
You-you would pay for all of these
swords?
KIRAN
I would. What is the price?
SELLER
Ah! Six pounds of water, two shirts
like his,
(he points at Eric’s shirt,
which is standard off-world
blacks)
and,
(he leans in close)
a lesson from you.
KIRAN
What??
SELLER
You are a sword fighter, yes?
(she nods)
You are very good, too.
(she nods again, this time
slower)
Then you must teach me! You see,
when the war starts, I wish to
fight. But to fight, you must know
how.
Kiran looks to Eric, and he nods.
KIRAN
Very well. Please, my friends will
stay with you, I must return to our
lodge to retrieve your payment.
The seller nods, she nods back, then slips away into the
crowds.
MOORE
So, what so you need water for?
The seller looks at him like he got his head chopped off.
SELLER
What does anyone need with water?
MOORE
Doesn’t this rain forest ever rain?
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 6.
SELLER
Not this close to the desert.
Beat.
SELLER
I have a question.
MOORE
Hm?
SELLER
Is the sword master....wed?
Eric and Jennifer do a double take. They look at each other,
then at him, and come to a silent decision.
MOORE & EMERSON
Yes.
The seller’s face falls slightly.
CUT TO:
7.
INT. DESTINY - REARRANGER
It looks similar to the ones found in the mess hall, but it
had a bigger platform the beam things onto. Kiran is there,
along with Carol.
KIRAN
And he wants me to train him.
She shakes her head. Nearby, the water is sitting, and as
she talks two shirts materialize. She picks up the shirts
and takes them over and puts them on the water.
KIRAN
I just don’t want to hurt him.
JACKSON
Then don’t hurt him.
KIRAN
You’ve never seen me fight. Please
beam me down.
Carol nods and Kiran and all the supplies are swept away in
an ancient beam.
CUT TO:
8.
EXT. BELARIA - FIGHTING SQUARE
CLOSE UP: KIRAN
She is sweating, and her hair is sticking to her face.
WIDE:
We see that both her and the seller have changed into more
comfortable fighting gear, and are busily clashing swords.
Eric and Jennifer are watching from some bleacher style
seating. She executes a combination that swiftly disarms him
and she brings her blade close to his throat.
Beat.
She releases him and he goes and gets his sword. He hefts it
up.
SELLER
You are indeed a master. However, I
must return to my work. I will
practice what you taught me. You
may take your swords.
He gives her a small bow, which she returns. The seller
moves off. Kiran sheaths her sword and moves over to the
bleachers, where the other three swords lay.
KIRAN
I am glad that I did not hurt him,
but he was not as good as I though
he might be.
MOORE
What are the other two for?
Kiran smiles.
KIRAN
You said you liked to fight? I will
teach you.
MOORE
I know how to fight.
KIRAN
(grinning)
Not with me.
Eric smiles slightly and shrugs.

MOORE

INT. DESTINY - CONFERENCE ROOM
Everyone minus the three who are injured is sitting around
the table, giving status reports.
JACKSON
I have enough materials to last
until the next planet, but if we
keep getting in materials at this
rate, we’ll have to stop at every
planet.
She casts a glance at the designated ’away team’.
MOORE
From what I saw, these people are
barely getting by, and can’t really
afford expensive minerals and
jewels. The only trade that seems
to have any success is sword
smithing. The seller did, however,
mention other groups people, the
"Aquanauds", and the "City
Dwellers".
JACKSON
That would coincide with the scans
that I took of the planet. It’s an
extremely modified planet, designed
for several different races. One
lives in the desert, one lives
in the rain forest, one lives
under the ocean, and one lives on
the islands. I detected advanced
civilizations on the islands and in
the domes under water.
Surprisingly, they all manage to
co-exist together, with trade and
communication lines.
MOORE
Not all of them.
KIRAN
They call the desert dwellers "The
Scourge", and they say that they
are raiders. That is why the shop
owner wanted to learn to fight.
EMERSON
He says that the forest people have
alliances with the the other two
races, but they are still
outnumbered by the desert dwellers.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 11.
Beat.
CROSS
Carol, have you made any more
progress with the engines?
JACKSON
We’re still stuck in automatic
jump, so every time we send someone
down, we run the risk of moving
on. But, judging by the average
time, we have around a day at each
planet.
CROSS
What about the hologram?
JACKSON
(scowling)
He’s just like the one on
Atlantis..the stupidest, most
patronizing, thing I have ever
seen. He’s not helping.
Cross sighs and rubs his forehead.
CROSS
All right..Carol, keep working.
Majors’, use the sensors to scout
out the next beam site to collect
some more materials. When you find
it, take Kris with you, I don’t
want to have to leave you behind.
Doctor, you might wanna figure out
some more the equipment in your new
infirmary, just in case.
SMITH
I hope I don’t have to.
Jennifer looks like she has an epiphany.
EMERSON
I have an idea.
All eyes turn to her.
EMERSON
When the scientists came up here to
work on the ship, I was assigned to
escort them. And I pay attention.
There may be something I remember
that could help Jackson with the
ship’s systems.
(CONTINUED):

CROSS
Hmm. Very well, Emerson, you stay
with Carol.
(beat)
Anything else?
Silence.
CROSS
Very well, dismissed.
Everyone begins to file out....

INT. DESTINY - GYM
VERY WIDE SHOT:
Its a large circular room, with two arches, one of which
leads to a room in the background, what we assume is the
main room, the other arch leads to a hall, but the door to
the hall is closed. This room mist be on the exterior of the
ship, because there is a huge window, that takes up most of
the wall. The wall also has seats lining it. There are two
bags on the seats. In the middle stand Eric and Kiran, both
with swords. They are circling each other.
CLOSE:
On them.
KIRAN
Are you sure we can be doing this?
He said to scout for available
sites.
MOORE
And we are. The computer is
searching for one or two. Besides,
we all need some down time.
KIRAN
(good naturedly)
I don’t.
MOORE
Thats just unnatural..
He throws a quick flurry of harmless blows at her. She
quickly parries them, and launches her own attack.
KIRAN
(while fighting)
You know, I’ve practiced sword
fighting for over three hundred
years.
Eric is busy trying to fend her off and doesn’t respond.
Amid clashing metal, they break off, and are back to
circling each other.
MOORE
(out of breath)
That’s...not..fair, I’ve only had
twenty-five years of practice.
Kiran laughs lightly, she is not making fun, but merely
laughing at a private thought.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 14.
MOORE
(lowering his sword)
What?
KIRAN
I never thought I’d hear someone
say that...what, you must have
spent all your life learning to
fight...
MOORE
When I was eleven, my older brother
started to play-fight with me.
There weren’t many swords, so we
stick fought. I’ve alway thought it
is a good way to develop
coordination. Also, growing up, I
adored movies like
Star Wars.if we run intooff duty, until she heals
KIRAN
Ah..that is an old set of movies.
Once, when I was new to earth, one
of my bunkmates told me that
it was real...
MOORE
Seriously?
KIRAN
Yes.
Moore has his sword down and is grinning during this,
completely unknowing of his danger. Kiran tries to hid a
grin of her own, and she throws herself at him, sword
flashing. He brings his sword up to combat her, but he is
too slow and she knocks it out of his hand while driving him
up against the wall, and brings her blade close to his
throat.
KIRAN
Never let yourself get distracted.
She lowers her sword and walks over to her bag.
KIRAN
Come on, that computer should be
done by now.
Eric grins and rubs his sword hand where she hit it while
walking over to the benches as well.
CUT TO:
15.
INT. DESTINY - ENGINE ROOM
Carol and Jennifer are there. Carol is tinkering with
something.
JACKSON
I hope you don’t mind if I tinker
while you talk?
Jennifer waves her hand at her.
EMERSON
I don’t mind..
(beat)
Well, I was assigned to help the
scientists..because I lost a bet..
CUT TO:
16.
EXT. PX3-973 - CAMP
JACKSON (V.O.)
You lost a bet?
EMERSON (V.O.)
Stranger things have happened.
Similar in looks to the off world camp seen in the SG-1
episode, "Enemy mine", but definitely smaller. In the entire
base there is only thirteen scientists, plus the two SG
teams, so there are twenty one people here, and
consequently, there are only two people out, on patrol.
These people are Major Emerson, and a new character, CAPITAN
SAMANTHA WESTERN, in her mid-twenties, she’s tall, bright,
her life is in the fast track, she’s got her eyes set on
higher things, becoming a major, for example. Slight
southern accent. Brilliant, she is advancing well, and has
an easy-going attitude. She wants to be just like the other
great Samantha, Colonel Carter. (NOTE: These two are the
only ones around.) We come in mid conversation.
WESTERN
Tomorrow.
EMERSON
Well, if it helps, I feel sorry for
you already.
WESTERN
But not sorry enough to switch with
me?
They both smile, knowing the answer.
EMERSON
It can’t be that bad, I hear that
at one of the scientists likes you.
This doesn’t cheer Samantha up.
WESTERN
Still, its glorified baby-sitting.
EMERSON
What we’re doing down here is that
too.
WESTERN
(stating a fact)
I hate spaceships. I was assigned
to the Phoenix for a little while.
Got sick every day. I just don’t
like ’em.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 17.
EMERSON
My uncle commanded a ship...
WESTERN
Colonel Emerson.
EMERSON
(changing the subject)
I’ll bet you that that scientist
does like you.
WESTERN
(going along)
Bet what?
Jennifer smiles...
CUT TO:
18.
INT. DESTINY - ENGINE ROOM
As before. Carol is staring at her.
JACKSON
Your uncle was Colonel Emerson?
EMERSON
My dad’s brother.
(beat, continuing with the
story)
And so if she won, I would get to
stay with the scientists, and if I
won, she’d take me on a tour of her
hometown, where she says they have
a space and air flight museum.
(another beat)
I lost.
FADE TO:
19.
EXT. PX3-973 - CAMP
Jennifer is herding four scientists together at a corner of
camp. She sees Samantha, who waves and grins. Jennifer
musters a small half grin back.
CUT TO:
20.
INT. DESTINY - BRIDGE
Looking very much like the first time we saw it, in
"Destiny". Jennifer and the four scientist beam in. The
scientists eagerly head over to the consoles, with Jennifer
trailing behind.
FADE TO:
21.
INT. DESTINY - BRIDGE
Now, not flashback. Eric and Kiran are at a console, going
over something. There is a 3-D model of the planet floating
on the console.
MOORE
(touching the ’planet’ in
various places)
Here, here, here and here.
KIRAN
Half of those are in the desert.
MOORE
Yeah, well, thats pretty much the
only deserted place to beam down
at.
KIRAN
I don’t want to run into any of the
raiders.
MOORE
The odds of us beaming down into a
raiding party are pretty darn
slim....
KIRAN
But we have no way of knowing. It’s
not like we have a life signs
detector.
MOORE
We should. I’ll ask Jackson before
we leave. And
trouble, we still have our
subdermal transmitters.
Kiran sighs and shakes her head.
KIRAN
When do we leave?
MOORE
As soon as I can find Matthews.....
FADE TO:
22.
INT. DESTINY - KRIS’S QUARTERS
She’s finally found a set of quarter that she likes. One
entire side is a window to space, the room’s a little bigger
than the others, but otherwise, its just like John’s. Kris
is wearing an apron-like painter’s smock and has an entire
corner that has a table, paints, brushes, all the things you
need to paint. She is walking over to the door, as if it
just rang. She slides her hand over the panel. Eric is on
the other side.
MATHEWS
Sir.
MOORE
(good naturedly)
You sure picked a secluded spot. A
had to use three transporters and
walk endlessly to get here.
MATHEWS
I like my privacy.
MOORE
I’m sure. But if you don’t want
people visiting, you might want to
keep your radio on.
MATHEWS
Yes sir.
MOORE
Get ready your mission gear on,
we’re going down at 1900.
MATHEWS
Why so late, sir?
MOORE
Coolest time of the day in the
desert, Mathews. See you then.
He turns, and walks back down the corridor. Kris looks after
him in puzzlement.
MATHEWS
Yes sir..
FADE TO:
23.
EXT. BELARIA - DESERT
At the edge of the desert, with the forest around 50 meters
away. Eric, Kiran, and Kris beam down. They immediately pull
up their guns and look around.
PAN:
To see them surrounded by a large group of people, dressed
in desert garb, ideally cloaks and robes, aiming crossbows,
bows, axes, and swords at the new arrivals.
KIRAN
(low, to Eric)
What were those odds again?
CUT TO:
24.
INT. KRIS’S POV
Black, with a muted light coming in.
VOICE
(muted)
Kelsa! Btersa ne weri volax nolt.
Veras colan!
All of a sudden there is bright light as the hood is yanked
off.
NEW ANGLE:
Kiran, Eric and Kris are all tied up. They all blink as the
hood that they had on are lifted. There are four other
people in the tent, two women and two men. One of the women
steps forward, a leader.
KELA
Kelsa? Btersa ne weri?!
(switching)
So you are forest dwellers, eh?
Our team members are silent.
KELA
You realize that this means war?
Kiran looks as Eric significantly. He sighs.
MOORE
We’re not forest dwellers.
BERALN
So we’re to assume you’re..who?
Eric looks over at Kiran. She shrugs. He takes a deep
breath.
MOORE
We’re not from this planet. Surely
you know that your ancestors came
from somewhere else, right? That
someone helped them? Well, the ones
who helped them must have been
aliens...like us.
Kela laughs disdainfully.
KELA
You are nothing like the Ancient
Helpers. They did not look like us.
You do. You are forest dwellers.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 25.
MOORE
Look at our stuff, that’s not
forester stuff!
KELA
(dismissive)
Aquanaud technology.
MOORE
We’re not foresters!
KELA
Then you don’t know what you’ve
done.
(to the others behind her)
Take them outside.
The others(the other two men and the woman) each grab one f
the team members and haul them up, then shove them towards
the tent flap.
CUT TO:
26.
INT. DESTINY - ENGINE ROOM
Carol has moved to something else. Jennifer is still
sitting, but watching intently.
JACKSON
Hey, will you hand me that?
She points at a tablet.
EMERSON
Sure.
She grabs it and hands it to Carol, who then turns and hooks
it up to what she’s working on.
EMERSON
Anyway, the one scientist that was
purely obsessed with the ship was
Doctor Hancock. Marrissa was
outgoing, and knew everything. She
always led the parties that came
here.
FADE TO:
27.
INT. DESTINY - BRIDGE
A group of scientists is here. This is the past Destiny.
Among the scientists is a bright woman in her late-thirties
with reddish-blond hair, and a feisty personality. She is
explaining something to two scientists. Int he background,
Jennifer is listening.
HANCOCK
....if the particles hit the
barrier at just the right speed, it
causes them to shift....
She keeps talking in the back ground.
EMERSON (V.O.)
She was actually fun to listen to,
not like those old frumpy
professors in school, she actually
knew how to talk so others
understood it.
TIME LAPSE:
Marrissa(Hancock)presses a few buttons, and the
window/screen comes alive.
EMERSON (V.O.)
She was very smart too. She figured
out how to get the computer to
answer verbal queries.
JACKSON (V.O.)
Wait.
CUT TO:
28.
INT. DESTINY - ENGINE ROOM
As before. Carol has turned to Jennifer.
JACKSON
She got the computer to answer
verbal queries?
EMERSON
Yeah. I thought you had that
figured out?
JACKSON
No...
EMERSON
See? I am helping...
FADE TO:
29.
EXT. BELARIA - DESERT - CAMP
A large circle of over three dozen tents make up the camp.
There has to be at least seventy-five people here, and a
good majority are gathered in the circle in the middle.
There are metalsmithes, wood worker, weapon makers, and
general suggestions of everyday life. However, there is
something in the air. There’s a few more weapon makers than
need be, men are practicing fighting in another square in
the background, there is the general hum of a restless
people getting ready for a war. In the middle of the square
is a large device, a cylinder with three smaller ones
attached to its sides. It has medium sized round discs
attached all over it’s body, looking vaguely like speakers.
It all has a very smooth look, like a river stone. From the
largest tent, the three members of the team are shoved out,
with Kela following behind. They stop in front of the pillar
looking thing.
KELA
I wish I could claim to know how or
why it works, but I can’t. It was
raided from an Aquanaud facility on
the coast. Our best scientists have
analyzed it, and discovered how to
work it and what it does.
Apparently, it emits a sound that
knocks out the enemy. It seems that
they wanted to use it on us, but
now, we will use it on them. So,
you see, the Alliance that your
people fought so hard to create and
maintain, will fall as easily as if
they were babes. But I fear that
you will not live to see that day.
I’m afraid that you cannot be
allowed to return.
NEW ANGLE:
We see that Kiran has pulled a knife(dagger) from somewhere
and has sawed through the ropes around her hands.
RESUME:
She turns and stabs the woman holding her in the shoulder,
then turns to the man holding Eric. Both Eric and Kris, as
soon as they see Kiran, begin to fight, head butting,
elbowing, etc. with their hands tied. However, soon others
join in on the fight, and Kiran is stabbed in the left
shoulder and goes down, Eric is punched in the gut and he
too falls, and Kris, seeing that the others have fallen,
surrenders. (NOTE: Kiran and Eric are both conscious.)
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 30.
KELA
Now that we’ve got that rather bad
business of rebellion out of the
way..
She nods to the ones covering the team members.
FADE TO:
31.
INT. DESTINY - BRIDGE
John, Carol and Jennifer are gathered around the console.
EMERSON
How far overdue are they now?
JACKSON
They were supposed to check in
thirty minutes ago. I’ve been
trying to isolate their
transmitters, but these sensors
aren’t exactly designed for such
fine scans.
CROSS
Is there anyway to make it faster?
JACKSON
(still working)
Computer, adjust scanning to the
finest setting.
COMPUTER
(sounds just like the
hologram)
The scanner is already set to
finest setting. Please adjust
manually.
John blinks in surprise.
EMERSON
We figured out how to get the
computer to acknowledge voices.
JACKSON
There!
CROSS
Where are they?
JACKSON
In the middle of a settlement,
looks like a camp.
CROSS
Get them out.
JACKSON
We could blow our cover..

CROSS
Get ’em out of there.
CUT TO:
33.
EXT. BELARIA - DESERT - CAMP
As before. The no-names are moving in for the kill. All of a
sudden, the team is whisked away in a beam. Kela and her
goons look around in surprise.
FADE TO:
34.
INT. DESTINY - BRIDGE
The away team is deposited onto the floor. Kris and Eric
immediately spring into action, carefully helping her up.
Carol hits a panel.
JACKSON
Janet! You’ve got wounded incoming!
I’m sending them to you now.
She hits more panels, and Kiran, Eric and Kris are all swept
away.
EMERSON
Janet’ll probably need some help..
Carol nods and transports Jennifer away.
CUT TO:
35.
INT. DESTINY - INFIRMARY
Janet is busily at work on Kiran, trying to stabilize her.
(NOTE: There is curtain separating Kiran and Janet from he
main Infirmary.) Jennifer is with Eric and Kris, doing
rudimentary field exams. Angle on them.
MOORE
(ignoring himself)
Will she be okay?
EMERSON
I honestly have no idea. I’m not a
doctor, but I’d say that she’ll
live.
MOORE
I talked her into going.
MATHEWS
But you didn’t tell her to fight,
sir.
MOORE
I didn’t have too, if I’d have had
the knife, I would have been her.
EMERSON
Not. Your. Fault. She’ll be fine.
(beat)
Well, you both look fine, aside
from the bruises and such.
MOORE
(in another world)
She’d better be fine.
EMERSON
She will.
Jennifer is trying to put on a brave front, but she’s not
too sure herself that she’s speaking the truth. As she says
the above, John and Carol come in.
CROSS
Kiran?
EMERSON
No news.
CROSS
Moore?
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 36.
MOORE
(still not here)
I told her it was safe.
CROSS
Major?
MOORE
She trusted me.
CROSS
We’ve all lost people before,
Major.
MOORE
(back with us)
Not me, sir.
Now while Jennifer, John and Eric are all focussed on each
other, Janet quietly steps out from behind the curtain. Kris
is the only one who notices.
MATHEWS
(interrupting)
How is she?
SMITH
She’s very lucky. The knife slid
right below the clavicle and above
the shoulder blade, missing the
subclavian artery and passing right
on through.
(beat, as they look at her
blankly)
She’ll be fine.
Everyone breathes a sigh of relief.
SMITH
She’ll have to stay here for
another week at least, and on the
ship,
completely, at least a month.
CROSS
Can we see her?
SMITH
She’s asleep right now, I don’t
want to wake her up, so, no. Now,
shoo, go on, I’ve got work to do.
(CONTINUED):

Slowly but surely, the crew files out, Eric is the last one.
He looks at the curtain for a beat, then turns and leaves.
Janet goes over to a monitor and begins to do something.
FADE OUT:
38.
INT. DESTINY - GYM
Eric is standing in the middle of the room, alone, the two
extra swords laying in a rack.
EMERSON (O.S.)
You just going to stand there?
PAN:
To see her standing in the doorway.
EMERSON
Or you gonna give me that promised
lesson?
She smiles slightly.
MOORE
(almost smile)
Lesson?
EMERSON
(she walks over to the sword
rack and picks one up)
The one you offered on the planet.
MOORE
Oh. Yeah, I guess so.
He gets a sword for himself.
MOORE
Okay, you want me to show you some
moves first, or you want me to
teach you while we fight?
She twirls her sword and takes a stance. Eric looks a little
surprised.
EMERSON
So I know a little...let’s fight
first.
MOORE
Okay.
He nods and takes his own stance, and they begin to fight.
(NOTE: Jennifer has some basic know how, but it is clear
that Eric is the teacher.)

Kiran is awake, and Janet is standing next to her. At the
door, John gives a play knock before walking in and over to
Kiran. She definitely looks the worse for wear, but puts on
a happy face for him.

INT. DESTINY - MESS HALL
Carol and Kris are eating. They are having a discussion.
MATHEWS
We started a war on a planet we
know nothing about.
JACKSON
It’s not our fault. Their planet
was practically running with open
arms towards a civil war. They
would have started sooner or later.
MATHEWS
But I can’t shake the feeling that
its our fault. And I can’t help but
knowing that this won’t be the last
time...

INT. DESTINY - CORRIDOR
Deep in the bowels of the ship, no windows. Trevan is
walking briskly, looking over his shoulder.
CUT-IN:
CLOSE:
On a set of closed eyes. They snap open all of a sudden, and
fans of SGA will instantly recognize the sinister cat-eyes.
CLOSE:
On Trevan as he quickly walks down the corridor, anxiously
looking over his shoulder. He rounds a corner and slumps
against a wall, taking a breath. He pokes his head around
the corner, then pulls back suddenly and runs down the
corridor he’s on. (NOTE: We don’t see what was around the
corridor.)
OVER THE SHOULDER:
A person wearing a leather jacket and who has white hair.
It walks down the corridor, and then turns down the one
Trevan turned down. The corridor dead ends, and at the end,
Trevan is cowering in one of the corners, desperately trying
to fade into the shadows. The person walks up to him and
snarls, reaching out a hand towards him....
CUT TO:
CORRIDOR(The first one)
We hear a scream echo down the hall, then it is abruptly cut
off.
BACK TO:
Second hall. We see Trevan, a whithered husk laying on the
floor. We do a moving pan up the leather coated person with
long white hair to the big reveal. Its a Wraith male, who
snarls and moves off.
CUT TO BLACK:
Beat.

I hope every day on this ship won’t

back home again.
Outside the window, the ship jumps into the tear and shifts
to red.
