FADE IN:
EXT. SPACE - DESTINY - ERASILE
Destiny is in orbit of a planet, that looks bare, the
continents are not covered with cities, but there is the
indication of civilization due to at least two orbiting
satellites. However, that is not our focus. There is a large
sun in the background, emitting large solar flares and
generally looking extremely active.
CUT TO:
2.
INT. DESTINY - GYM
Jennifer and John are there, of course with their swords,
and are in a lull of the fight.
EMERSON
No, not just nova, supernova.
MOORE
And the difference is...?
Beat.
EMERSON
Carol knows.
That makes Eric chuckle.
MOORE
(teasing)
That's a relief. There for a
moment, I was scared
EMERSON
(amused)
Scared?
MOORE
That you might be
getting.....smart.
She gasps as if horrified and swings a mock-blow towards
him. This launches them into a bout of clashing swords. Kris
quickly takes the defensive, with Eric pushing her farther
and farther back. He quickly and niftily disarms her.
MOORE
Try to take the offensive every
once in a while.
EMERSON
I'll try.
(shifting subjects)
Have you been to see Kiran yet
today?
That puts a damper on Eric, but its not as bad as it was.
MOORE
I'm going after this.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 3.
EMERSON
So 'm I.
CUT TO:
4.
INT. DESTINY - INFIRMARY
Janet is standing by Shelby's bedside.(Her and Elizabeth are
awake)
PORTER
Hey doc, we're awake..you shoulda
done your tests when we weren't.
SMITH
Sorry, but I need to know why you
guys were under for four days.
Thats twice the maximum amount of
time that I predicted.
PORTER
(raising her hand like a
school kid)
Uh, you're not infallible?
SMITH
Very funny, but I didn't do the
estimate.
JOHNSON
Who did? Jackson? That explains a
lot.
SMITH
No. It was the computer.
PORTER
(digging)
Computer, huh? So, uh, what
happened while we were visiting
our, uh, subconscious minds?
SMITH
(smiling)
You'll have to ask the Colonel.
PORTER
(disappointed)
Awww...come on, just a little hint?
SMITH
(still smiling)
Sorry, I have my marching orders.
You wait until you debrief.
JOHNSON
So, you done yet?
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 5.
SMITH
No.
Beat.
JOHNSON
Now?
SMITH
No.
Beat.
JOHNSON & PORTER
Can we leave?
Beat.
SMITH
Yes.
JOHNSON & PORTER
Seriously?
SMITH
Yes.
JOHNSON
We can go?
SMITH
As soon as I'm finished.
(con't, all doctory)
Can you tell me your name and rank?
JOHNSON
(rolling her eyes)
Captain Elizabeth Patricia Johnson
SMITH
Birth date?
JOHNSON
You know my birthday?
Beat.
SMITH
No. You're cleared to go.
(turning to Shelby)
Your turn.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 6.
PORTER
(matter-of-factly)
Captain Shelby Julia Porter.
SMITH
And your birth date? You have told
me your birthday.
PORTER
(confused)
No..I haven't...4/5/98.
SMITH
Right.
PORTER
Wrong. I never told you my
birthday. 4/5/95 is actually when I
was born.
SMITH
(smiling)
Okay, you can go too.
Janet turns from them and goes to a bed that is curtained
off. She pulls aside the curtain and goes inside. (NOTE: We
don't see who the patient is.)
CUT TO:
7.
INT. DESTINY - INFIRMARY
On Kiran's bed. Jennifer and Eric are visiting.
KIRAN
How much longer do I have to stay
here?
MOORE
Uh, at least another six days?
EMERSON
Cheer up, we'll all be visiting
every day.
KIRAN
No more missions for at least a
month.
MOORE
Hey, I consider that a plus.
KIRAN
(muttering)
I don't.
EMERSON
There isn't anything to do here?
KIRAN
(dryly)
Its an infirmary.
EMERSON
So, nothing?
KIRAN
Apparently the good doctor has a
liking for checkers.
EMERSON
I truly feel sorry for you.
SMITH
(O.S.)
Hey! Are you temping my patient?
She walks into view, carrying a clipboard.
SMITH
If you don't have anything to do,
you can be my temporary nurses.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 8.
EMERSON
(scrambling)
Uh, I, uh, I gotta go talk to
Captain Porter.
And she is off, smoothly exiting. Janet turns to Eric.
MOORE
I have an artist to see.
He turns and leaves also, but a lot less gracefully.
SMITH
(calling after him playfully)
Chicken!
(she sakes her head and turns
back to Kiran)
So, how are you feeling?
KIRAN
(you just scared off the best
thing I had going for me)
Bored.
SMITH
(while checking her vitals)
You wanna play checkers?
KIRAN
Not that bored.
Janet smiles and continues checking various things.
MONTAGE:
FADE TO:
9.
INT. DESTINY - CONFERENCE ROOM
John is seated at one side of the circle, with Shelby and
Elizabeth at the other side. Cross is in mid explanation.
CROSS
...They beamed down, only to
discover that they were in the
middle of an ambush...
CUT-IN:
EXT. BELARIA - DESERT
At the edge of the desert, with the forest around 50 meters
away. Eric, Kiran, and Kris beam down. They immediately pull
up their guns and look around.
PAN:
To see them surrounded by a large group of people, dressed
in desert garb, ideally cloaks and robes, aiming crossbows,
bows, axes, and swords at the new arrivals.
KIRAN
(low, to Eric)
What were those odds again?
FADE TO:
BACK TO THE CONFERENCE ROOM:
Time lapse.
CROSS
..In the tussle, Kiran was
stabbed....
CUT-IN (FAST):
EXT. BELARIA - DESERT - CAMP
NEW ANGLE:
We see that Kiran has pulled a knife(dagger) from somewhere
and has sawed through the ropes around her hands.
CUT-IN (FAST):
Kiran is stabbed in the left shoulder and goes down.
BACK TO THE CONFERENCE ROOM:
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 10.
Shelby and Elizabeth stare in horror. Shelby shakes her head
in disbelief.
FADE OUT:
11.
EXT. ERASILE - TOWER ONE - DAY
A large single building, that towers into the sky and is the
only structure visible. In the far distance, there is just
barely visible a similar structure. Around the tower are
various small craft, sleek, thin, all lozenge shaped. There
are various exterior elevators that are small glass bubbles
attached to the side of the building. The tower itself
narrows infinitely as it climbs, giving it a "needle to the
heavens" effect. It is covered entirely in what looks like
glass.
CUT TO:
12.
INT. TOWER ONE - GATE ROOM
A Stargate stands in the middle of the room, not anywhere
near as large as the base of the tower, so it must be pretty
hight up. Out the windows that cover the entire outside
wall, you can see the same things you saw from outside. The
Stargate kawooshes and the event horizon stabilizes. A man
and woman (both human looking)walk out of the gate, wearing
simple silver jumpsuits, and a gray-black colored
bracelet/armband that goes from the wrist to the
mid-forearm. They begin to head towards the glass elevator
on the side of the building, however, before they reach it,
an Ancient transporter beam deposits Eric, Kris, and
Jennifer next to the gate. The two natives look at the off
world team curiously, but they make no move towards the team
or any acknowledgment of their arrival. Beat.
MOORE
Uh, hi?
He waves tentatively, but the natives make no response.
Uncomfortable beat. Just as things appear to be hopeless,
one if the crafts outdoors turns, and heads straight for the
window. It slows, and just as we'd think that it'd shatter
the glass, it goes right through, and shuts down, landing
softly on the floor. A part of it unseals and a young
attractive woman and man exit. The man nods at the ones who
came through the gate, and they promptly go to the elevator
and get it, sending it skyrocketing up the side of the
tower. The man turns back to the team and smiles at them.
The woman smiles also.
JARROD
(still smiling)
Hello. You'll have to excuse the
scouts, they do not speak to
outsiders, and when they detected
no telepathic link with you, they
alerted us immediately. I am
Jarrod, and this is my bonded,
Jada. Welcome to Erasile.
JADA
We have not had visitors in over
three thousand cycles.
MOORE
Well, uh, thanks for the welcome.
We're just traveling through, and
we were wondering if you could
spare some materials, such as
metals and other natural base
materials? We can trade for it..
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 13.
JADA
I'm sorry, Erasile is depleted of
all base materials.
JARROD
We have stripped our home so that
we may escape the death rays of our
sun. As it is, we have nothing left
to start our new home.
JADA
We are so sorry.
JARROD
May I ask why you need these thing?
MOORE
Well, uh, have you ever heard of a
group of people called the
Ancients?
JADA
(she looks confused)
I sorry, but no.
EMERSON
The Alterrans?
Jarrod and Jada's eyes go wide and Jada gasps, almost
falling, she wavers.
JARROD
Alterrans?
MOORE
(wary of their response to the
name)
Yes..
JARROD
Oh..dear Alterrans....
(clears throat)
The Alterrans were the last
visitors we had. They are our
ancestors...
MOORE
(relieved)
Well, we have an Alterran ship in
orbit-
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 14.
JADA
(recovered a little)
Yes! Yes, we see this ship of
yours!
MOORE
And we must have raw materials to
power the rearrangers on it that
provide us with food and supplies.
JARROD
(thinking, beat)
...the others have a proposal...if
you will take refugees aboard your
ship..we will let you have all the
materials that we have left behind.
JADA
(also thinking)
They wish us to join you...
Our team looks surprised at the proposal..
FADE TO:
15.
INT. DESTINY - CONFERENCE ROOM
Everyone is there. Eric is in mid-explanation.
MOORE
..we explained the fact that we had
a ship, and then they suddenly
looked off into space. From their
behavior, I'd assume that they are
telepathic. After a moment, they
looked back at us and made the
proposal, they want us to take on
refugees in exchange for allowing
up to take whatever is on their
planet when they leave.
CROSS
Is there any benefit from this line
of thought?
He looks at Carol.
JACKSON
The planet itself is depleted
completely of all useful materials,
but if we had it all to ourselves
after they left, we could take
enough stuff from their buildings
to last us a long time. It'd be a
pinch, it'd take at least three
hours to get the materials, and the
sun goes supernova in around two
days.
(to the 'away team')
You said they looked like they were
still very much settled in, so I
have to assume that it will take at
least that long to transport the
rest of the ones who are going to
their new home.
KIRAN
I think its a wonderful proposal.
This ship was never meant to carry
only ten people. It's...empty.
Right now, we have no purpose.
MOORE
Getting home.
KIRAN
As much as I hate to admit it, the
chances of that are almost
(cont'd)
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 16.
KIRAN (cont'd)
impossible. If we begin to accept
refugees, then this ship will be
filled with life again.
John looks thoughtful.
KIRAN
We also could have our fill of
supplies. It could cut down on our
stopping on pre-industrialized
planets and risking contamination.
John just rubs his forehead thoughtfully.
CROSS
All right. I'll have an answer as
soon as I get one.
(beat)
Janet?
SMITH
I'm afraid there's nothing I can
do. He'll be in this coma as long
as he is in it. I don't understand
it, Shelby and Elizabeth came out
of it at almost the same time, and
yet he just seems to sleep on. His
brain chemistry may just be
reacting adversely to the weapon,
but so far I've found no signs of
anything out of whack.
CROSS
Keep monitoring him. I'd very much
like to know if he wakes up.
Janet nods.
CROSS
In one hour I'll have my answer. In
the meantime, Major, go back and
see if they've actually started
evacuating, and find out exactly
how many people they want us to
take. Make sure they understand
once you get on you'll never get
home again.
(Moore nods)
Carol, see if you can streamline
the material collection process.
(she nods)
Major Emerson, Captains' Johnson
and Porter will be replacing you on
(cont'd)
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 17.
CROSS (cont'd)
Major Moore's team for now, I need
you to find out where we'd keep a
bunch of refugees.
Jennifer nods.
JOHNSON
Yes, sir.
PORTER
(only seconds behind
Elizabeth)
Yes, sir.
John nods to all in attendance.
CROSS
All right, dismissed.
Everyone begins to file out.
FADE TO:
18.
EXT. SPACE - ERASILE - DESTINY
An establishing shot of the ship, planet and sun, which
seems more active than when we last saw it.
CUT TO:
19.
INT. TOWER ONE - GATE ROOM
This time, Jarrod and Jada are waiting, sitting on the
floor. There are around twenty to thirty people with them,
each with a single bag (think duffel bag). (NOTE: Out the
window there is no activity. No more ships, nor more zipping
elevators.) The new away team beams into the room.(Eric,
Kris, Shelby and Elizabeth).
JARROD
These are the refugees, we await
you decision.
MOORE
This is all of them?
JADA
It is.
MOORE
But..we saw may of you the last
time we were here.
JADA
(smiling)
We have powers...
Outside, all the ships and movement begins again.
JADA
(continuing)
..to create that which is not
there.
Everything outside disappears.
JARROD
We offer all our powers and our
allegiance to you and your
comrades.
Eric looks uncomfortable.
MOORE
Uh, well, if our leader allows you
to come aboard, we might be able to
use your powers, but thats it.
JARROD
If we cannot join you, them we are
doomed to die with our planet.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 20.
MOORE
You realize once you're on Destiny,
you won't ever return home?
JARROD
Our home is dieing. We will not
spend the rest of our lives on
another world.
(beat)
We were born in space, all of us.
Our parents came from another
world, thousands of cycles ago, to
our new home. We will live and die
here, or we will live and die in
space, at home with the stars.
His voice is full of emotion and there are others in his
group that look close to tears.
MOORE
(uncomfortably)
Well..
Shelby steps in when he trails off.
PORTER
We will do what we can to ensure
that you live. Our leader, Colonel
Cross, is at this very moment
making up his mind, and I am sure
that he will see the way. In less
than an hour he will give us your
fate.
FADE OUT:
21.
INT. DESTINY - BRIDGE
Jennifer is alone at one of the consoles, muttering to
herself.
EMERSON
(mimicking John)
'Find a place to put them!'
(back to normal)
How about all the empty quarters?
(mimicking John)
'Oh no, that won't do!'
She giggles. Then gets serious.
EMERSON
What is wrong with me?
She shakes her head.
EMERSON
I haven't sleep six hours since we
got here.
SMITH
(O.S.)
Sleep is a good thing,
Jennifer turns around to see Janet smiling at her.
EMERSON
(turning back to what she's
doing.)
Well, on a spaceship, its
impossible.
SMITH
(raises eyebrow)
Oh?
EMERSON
(still working)
Oh, what?
SMITH
Oh really? I get a good ten hours
of sleep every night.
EMERSON
How?
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 22.
SMITH
I go to sleep laughing.
EMERSON
There isn't much to laugh at here.
SMITH
Then I take it you don't read
Ancient literature?
Jennifer manages a wry grin.
MONTAGE:
(NOTE: During this montage we will never hear people's
voices, but instead simply the score)
FADE TO:
23.
INT. TOWER ONE - GATE ROOM
Time has definitely passed. The away team is now sitting
down next to Jarrod and Jada and the rest of the refugees,
they are listening to them give a brief history of their
planet.

INT. TOWER ONE - GATE ROOM
END MONTAGE:
Every one is sitting down, an expectant silence covering
them. All of a sudden, Eric's radio sparks to life, causing
him to practically jump up.
CROSS
(On Radio)
Tell them...I'm sorry. We're not
ready for a boat load of people.
MOORE
(on their side)
Sir, you would be condemning them
to die.
Everyone else looks at Eric, having overheard his last line
and realizing what it may mean.
CROSS
(O.R.)
I'm sorry, why can't they join the
other refugees?
MOORE
(slightly uncomfortable)
Uh, you haven't heard the full
story. They don't know where the
other refugees are. They originally
came from another world, they were
born in space, and they settled
here, not knowing that the sun
would eventually go nova. Now they
have nowhere to go. They can't use
the Stargate, it won't allow their
molecules to rematerialize, and
their ships were built into these
towers
CROSS
I see.
(long beat)
We may be able to offer...temporary
- make sure they understand
temporary - residence to them
until we come upon a planet that
will suit them.
(beat, almost to himself)
I wondered if it would be that
easy..
(back to normal)
(cont'd)
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 28.
CROSS (cont'd)
Have them arrange to be brought up.
I'll let Carol and Major Emerson
know.
MOORE
Yes-
But the radio is clicked off before he can finish. He sighs
and turns to the refugees and his team.
MOORE
(he takes a deep breath)
At first, he said no.
The collective hope of the refugees falls.
MOORE
(con't)
But, after I explained you
circumstances,
Their hope skyrockets again.
MOORE
(con't)
he told me to offer you temporary
transport to the planet of your
choice.
(beat)
I know this isn't want you wanted,
but-
JARROD
(interrupting)
No, no its quite okay. This
arrangement will suit us well.
Jada looks at him, shocked.
JADA
(accusatory)
You said we would live in space or
die on a planet! You lied!
Jarrod and everyone else looks surprised at her outburst.
JARROD
(calming)
Jada, listen to me, feel-
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 29.
JADA
No! I will not follow you to
another home. I am tired of this
cycle!
And in a sudden blinding flash, she is gone. Beat. Almost
reluctantly, four others follow her by flashing away. (NOTE:
Only pairs go, a man and woman, so it should be four who
follow her.)
Jarrod and the remaining refugees look on in shock. Jarrod
looks like he just got hit by a sledgehammer.
JARROD
(almost stuttering, immensely
shocked)
The-the link...is gone...
The others begin to take on his look of shock. Jarrod gets
the same glazed fix look that he had in scene seven. Beat.
He shudders and comes out of it.
JARROD
I-I am sorry-its never happened
before...she left..
MOORE
Jarrod?
JARROD
In all the years of our
history..never has any bonded pair
split..she is gone..the link
dissolved..
MOORE
Listen, you can't be on the ship
like this..what happened?
A refugee steps forward, looking not a shaken as the others.
TERRAN
When two are bonded, a link is
established, their minds
intertwined, and they join the
community....never has any bonded
pair split...
MOORE
Where did she go?
Terran looks apologetic.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 30.
TERRAN
Only the bonded knows.
Eric turns to Jarrod, who looks like a nervous wreck. But
Shelby is the one who steps up to him.
PORTER
Jarrod...where did Jada go?
JARROD
(puling it together somewhat)
The ship..control..it won't
work..liftoff..gone..she's gone...
And he mumbles off incoherently.
TERRAN
(his eyes widen)
She's going to try to launch the
tower...
MOORE
Wait..you said you couldn't..
TERRAN
They can't..we tried to lift tower
three when we realized that the sun
was going nova...it exploded on
liftoff.
Dramatic music.
FADE OUT:
31.
INT. DESTINY - BRIDGE
Jennifer and Carol are at the console(s). Carol presses
something.
EMERSON
We're ready for the beam up, Eric.
Beat.
MOORE
(O.R.)
Uh, we have a small situation,
Jen...
CUTAWAY:
INT. TOWER ONE - GATE ROOM
As before.
EMERSON
(O.R.)
Do I want to know what the problem
is?
MOORE
It might be helpful..
CUTAWAY:
INT. DESTINY - BRIDGE
As before. Jennifer looks at Carol and half smiles.
EMERSON
What's the situation?
MOORE
Well, it seems that Jada was
unhappy with Jarrod's agreement to
temporary transportation aboard
Destiny. She was so upset, that she
broke her bond with Jarrod, took
two other couples with her, and
disappeared.
CUTAWAY:
INT. TOWER ONE - GATE ROOM
As before.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 32.
MOORE
(con't)
One of the refugees,
(he nods at Terran)
says that she transported to the
control room of the ship. She's
going to try to leave.
CUTAWAY:
INT. DESTINY - BRIDGE
Janet looks incredulous.
EMERSON
She can do that?
MOORE
(O.R.)
No. If she tries, Tower One will
blow up. They were never built to
be re-started.
Jennifer begins to press buttons.
EMERSON
(while working)
How much time do we have?
Beat.
MOORE
(O.R.)
According to Terran..less than half
an hour.
Jennifer freezes.
EMERSON
I'll beam up the first set now-
MOORE
(O.R., interrupting)
You can't get all of us out of here
before she tries. The best you
could do is to get half.
(beat)
Listen, you need to take my team
and Terran, and take us to the top
of the tower. Thats the only way to
stop her.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 33.
EMERSON
Okay..get ready
(beat as she types more)
...now!
She presses a button.
CUT TO:
34.
INT. TOWER ONE - CONTROL ROOM
A smallish room, with at least three interlinks, they are a
console, that, instead of keys, has two pools of liquids,
with openings shaped like hands. Jada, and the four who were
with her are here. Jada has her hands in one interlink.
(NOTE: She tries to hide it, but the broken bond is
affecting her more than she's letting on.) The other couples
are standing at the other consoles, one of each of their
hands in in the pools, with their other hand pressed against
each others hand.
JADA
Prepare the engines.
FIRST MAN
The engines are ready.
JADA
Stabilizers?
FIRST WOMAN
(she is with the first man)
Stabilizers are ready.
JADA
Then let us make our mark in space.
But, before any marks are made, the team(plus Terran) beams
in!
JADA
(recovering from her suprise)
Get out of here!
She concentrates and sends Terran and Elizabeth flying into
one of the glass panels. Terran, however, uses his own
powers to turn the glass solid, and they merely hit it(hard)
instead of going through it. Terran jumps to his feet, ready
for more, but Elizabeth is down. Meanwhile, the other
couples have launched their own telekinetic attacks on the
rest of the team, sending them scurrying, Kris goes short
order, and Eric only escapes because he is protected by
Terran, who blocks the attack on him. Eric and Terran hide
behind one of the consoles, and Shelby hides behind the
other one. She attempts to fire at Jada, but the bullets are
blocked and sent screaming back towards Shelby. She dives
out of the way just in time, but the bullets hit the
console, causing it to spark. Shelby is open to attack from
the telekinetic attacks, and she is swiftly knocked out.
This leaves Eric and Terran verses Jada and one of the
couples. (The other couple was taken down by Terran.) Eric
is firing his gun, but all he's accomplishing is distracting

them from Terran, who takes the advantage to attack. He
takes down the other couple, and that leaves Jada versus
Eric and Terran. They continue to fight as they talk.
MOORE
You're outnumbered!
TERRAN
Why are you doing this, Jada? You
were the best leader and scientist
we had. Why are you committing
suicide?
JADA
You think this was just a spur of
the moment idea? I've been planing
this since tower three fell! Its
all your fault!
She indicates Eric.
JADA
This all was planned, suicide was
never intended. Tower three was
sabotaged...whoever it was, wanted
us to die here! So we changed the
odds. We had always planned to
escape in tower one..but then you
came along, and ruined everything!
This gives Eric pause, and as he pauses, Jarrod and the
rest of the refugees appear.
JARROD
Hmm..I'm afraid they actually
helped us....dear..
He sends a blast of telekinetic energy at Jada causing her
to recoil, and nearly fall.
JARROD
(as he continues to attack)
You thought you could hide from
us? The bond we were given knows
everything. Breaking it was not
very smart.
One of Jarrod's attacks hits home on her and she crumples to
the floor.
JARROD
But now...I won't die with you.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 36.
And she dies... Jarrod now turns to Eric and Terran, who
have been watching this turnaround with surprise.
TERRAN
You-you sabotaged our last hope for
survival!!
He stares agape at him.
JARROD
(softly)
No, Terran...I have given us what
we always wanted...peace. We will
die where we always wanted to
be...at home.
TERRAN
Then why involve them?
He nods at Eric.
JARROD
Because..it was planned according
to their visit..you see..some of us
were gifted with special powers..I
can give glimpses of the future..I
saw them as a way to push the
rebels into action..
MOORE
You don't want refuge?
JARROD
Of course not..we simply wish to
die in peace..
TERRAN
You killed your bonded! You have
betrayed what the parents stood
for! Is there anything you have
said that was the truth? Anything?
Did all who accessed the link know
about your betrayal? I know I
didn't. I know that Jada didn't
know...
JARROD
Silence!
(he turns to Eric)
You and your companions may return
to your ship.
(CONTINUED):
CONTINUED: 37.
MOORE
What about him?
He looks at Terran.
JARROD
That does not concern you.
Eric looks sideways at him, then taps his radio.
MOORE
Jennifer, get Porter, Mathews and
Johnson and get em up there with
you. Tell Janet to expect them.
Shelby, Kris, and Elizabeth a whisked away. Eric takes a
surreptitious step in Terran's direction.
MOORE
Now, get me.
At the last moment, he grabs Terran, and they are both
pulled away. Jarrod is furious.
JARROD
How can we get them?!
CLOSE on the first woman from Jada's team. Her and her
bonded are barely alive, but they join hands weakly, and
close their eyes in concentration.
CUT TO:

EXT. ERASILE - TOWER ONE - DAY
We see the tip of the tower, where everyone was. All of a
sudden, a huge multi-colored fireball looking thing rips
through it, causing all the windows/forcefields to cave and
collapse, leaving the occupants who survived that at the
mercy of the extremely high altitudes.
PULL OUT:
To see that we are in fact watching this from Destiny.
Jennifer, Carol, Eric, John and Terran are all gathered
watching it.
TERRAN
Someone committed suicide..
As we watch out the window, the fire seems to crawl down the
tower, blowing out windows and wreaking havoc.
Terran looks like he was just punched int the gut with a
sledgehammer.. His family, friends, world, everyone he knew
is gone, and the link that connected them all has been
severed.
FADE OUT:

INT. DESTINY - MESS HALL
Eric is talking with Jennifer. (NOTE: They are both eating
something, but its not anything we'd recognize, its Ancient
food) Eric is in mid-sentence.
MOORE
..I saw the effect the broken bond
had on Jarrod..Terran was hiding a
lot. He's just lost his home,
family friends..pretty much
everything..
EMERSON
We're gonna have to learn to deal
with what we feel is our
mistakes....
MOORE
Yeah...but it's hard..I know that
its my fault..
EMERSON
And I know its not.
She rises.
EMERSON
Cm'on, I want to teach you how to
fight with bantos rods. I learned
how to in Atlantis.
Eric smiles.
MOORE
Never argue with a lady..
EMERSON
Who you callin a 'lady'?
They're teasing and laughing as they walk off..
FADE OUT:

INT. DESTINY - TERRAN'S QUARTERS
He is sprawled on his bed, looking the worse for wear and
zoned out.

hibernation and at least five drones.
