He moves up to it, and get's ready to tap it in,
to the fact Elsie isn't moving.
He hits it in, and it goes in!
Finally... We can move on now.

Come on Elsie, you're scaring me...
Clyde looks around, for help.
Someone, help me...!
Everyone else is frozen, standing still.
Somebody had just hit a ball. It is suspended in the air.
Clyde runs up to it, awestruck.
But how... ?
He taps the ball - it falls.

Time has stopped...?
He spins around.

He is lying on his bed, bored. The curtains are drawn,
the window blocked by several veils to block out the light.
Clyde looks up.
One of his old teddy bears, on a shelf, has come to life.
Clyde is scared.
TEDDY BEAR (VOICE)
I want you to hurt.
I want you to suffer.
Once you have suffered.
You will die.
NO!! NOOO!! NOO!
He blinks. The teddy bear is back on the shelf, still.
Clyde grabs it, and throws it across the room, panting.

clothed, for he doesn't bother changing anymore.
Afternoon, as always. Clyde runs, terrified. He is very
dirty, for he never washes either.
Clyde runs to the top.
He looks over the edge. The water of course, is immobile.
Clyde edges closer to the cliff top.
Plunge, Clyde, and it will end.
Who are you?
I am like you. Plunge.
Clyde closes his eyes, slowly.
He falls forward. The shot stays for several seconds...
The cars start moving.
People resume walking, as usual.
