It started on the year of 2100 when this man named Cecil experimented on the dead. I was his first experimentation that succeeded. There were three others before me. The first of the three had been dead for too long and the second and third were failures because he did something wrong with his experiment. I think Cecil didn't have enough electricity or something.
I died only a couple of days before he dug me out of the cemetery, which he works at. Yes, Cecil is a gravedigger. He is also a writer on his past experiments, which are the causes of his good wealth. Two days before I died there was a drunk teenage boy driving on the empty silent highroad. He was laughing and crashed his blue convertible into my red mustang. It wasn't too damaging at first, so I ignored him. He continued hitting my car, but on the fourth time I was about to get out of my seat and confront him. I took my seat-belt off and then bam! Just like that. Everything that was once clear became nothing but darkness.
Now I'm a robot programmed to destroy humans-men, women, and children. But something else happened. I'm a defect because I don't do that. Cecil didn't think it'd be worth throwing me away as long as I give him a good enough service.
There are six others that were dug up after me. My best friends, Eva and Bianca, with their dark hair and dark eyes swimming through the night. My enemy, Rapunzel, who got her name from having long blonde hair. Her eyes are covered in a foggy color. There are three others that I never talked to before-Lilith, Amber, and Faith. All had hair dark like a cup of hot cocoa.
We were all quiet and trapped in cages like animals. Cecil fed us a plate of very little food everyday. He tried making us into sex slaves. Everyone of us refused him outright except for one-Amber. She dressed like she owned every man in town. All of us hated her from the beginning. She isn't my enemy though because she told me she was with her husband trying to conceive child when he found out that she was the reason that they couldn't bring a child into this world. The reason she told me is because I was the only one who never argued with any of them at the time until Rapunzel turned against us. Cecil laughed about it when she kept yelling that she'll kill us.
I escaped not too long after Rapunzel, the last of us, was brought back from the dead. One year in that mansion was like a lifetime in hell without the flames. The reason no one tried this is because he had this device with a red button. Every time he pushed it everything would be... gone. Cecil told us each time he pushed it all of us would fall to sleep at once. Bianca went after him during dinner once and when we woke up we happened to be back in our cages. I did promise them all that I would come back to save them.
We don't need food or water to survive. After all we're robots. We only eat and drink to feel like humans again.
When I got out of their, I ignored everyone who stared at me.
Now it's fifteen years later. I've decided to get them back. I just needed to get the right equipment with me in case something happens, like they all turn against me. In my hand is a green bag full of grenades and guns. He took my heart and replaced it with something that will be mentioned later on in this story.
I reach a huge white house. It's not a mansion, but it's big enough to make a person think that he or she is a wealthy son of a bitch. A garage sits beside the house. The door is opened enough for me to squeeze through. I crawl under and then pull my bag in with me. There's a toolbox on one of the dusty shelves that I can use.
I go over, open it up, and take out a few tools. Then I pull my shirt over my head and toss it beside me along with my bra. Nobody's here so it's alright. I use the tools and open the center of my chest where there's no sound of a heartbeat. When I look down I see a device instead. Footsteps occur outside the garage. I look over at the opened door and see a man's feet. Hastily I put my pink lace bra back on.
"Who the hell are you?" he yells. "What do you think your doing with my tools in nothing but a bra--"
A slight blush forms on his face. "Uh... Stop messing with my tools!"
I look over at him with a glare upon my face. "Quit staring at my chest! My eyes are higher than where you're viewing!" I rush to grab my white long-sleeved shirt and put it back on. The blonde man with eyes stranded in mist looks up towards mine, like pools of sapphires. He looks at them for a bit too long. "What!?"
"Why are you messing with my tools, bitch?"
His personality doesn't do his good looks justice. His skin may be bronze and his body muscular, but his personality is like lightning-a flash of anger. Maybe I'm the same way, but I've been through hell. And I certainly don't enjoy being a robot!
"I'm done using them. It's not like I came here to steal tools. If I wanted to steal something it'd be money. Not some tools I'm only going to need to use once, which is why I never bought any. Now goodbye."
I swear I didn't see his car when I walked here.
Walking out of the garage, I feel his hand on my arm. When I turn around I see him glaring back at me. "Don't come here again!" he yells in my face. "And give me back my wrench."
"Geeze, dude. Get over it. Their just tools."
"Give. Me. My. Wrench. Back."
"Whatever." I throw the wrench that was hidden in my pocket and it lands on the cemented floor. Thud!
The annoying man rushes to it and picks it up, holding it close to his chest as if it is a baby. "Don't touch my tools. No one's allowed to touch them." Tears pour out of his eyes.
Damn, this guy's weird. "What's wrong?" I decide to ask. "What's so important about these tools?"
"My late wife gave them to me for my birthday. Someone came over and burned the house down. We had a daughter together and she was kidnapped. My wife risked her life pushing me out of the way of the fire spreading towards us. She burned right away and before I was thinking I rushed out of the house to find our daughter, Hazel. She looks a lot like you with her blonde hair and blue eyes, except her skin tone and eyes and hair color are a little darker."
Wow. This guy was actually married. I'm taken aback.
He continues. "This man that kidnapped my daughter had dark hair-brown- with gray eyes a lot like mine and a scar on his hand. The scar was made from the fire he created to destroy my house and my family!"
Again, I'm taken aback. "I know that guy! He made me into a robot and trapped me in a cage after bringing me back from the dead! Not just me either!"
Now it's his turn to be taken by surprise. "You're dead?"
"I was until he experimented on me and six others. He might be doing the same to your little girl! We've got to hurry and find her!"
"Nathaniel," he says, rushing to the house.
"Ivanna. There's no time to search for weapons. We must hurry to find your little girl! I have grenades and guns in my bag."
"I want the flamethrower if we're dealing with robots."
The flamethrower that I've been holding in my other hand is for to kill the girls if necessary. I don't want to, but it's better safe than sorry. I toss a grenade to him, uncaring of what might happen. The grenade lands in his hands quite smoothly. It's as if I was throwing him a football.
We leave his garage and rush to Cecil's mansion. Through the darkened streets people stare at us in awe believing we are siblings. To hell with that. Like I want to be related to such an asshole.
When we get to the mansion everyone is in the same place as I last remember seeing them-in their cages with Cecil towering above them as if he owns them-before I left. Nathaniel stares at him for a bit too long in shock as if he knows Cecil. "What's wrong?" I ask.
"Brother, I've finally found you. Now I can get my revenge." Cecil turns around with a smirk on his face.
"Brother?" I say.
Cecil pushes the button and--
Ivanna falls asleep, or dies again. I run up to him and take the device that controls all the robots. "Give me back my daughter, you bastard! Lucifer, give her back to me!" I pick him up and throw him to one of the cages. He opens his mouth but nothing comes out.
"Ah... ah... ah... Ack!"
Someone made sure to take his voice away. Haha! He deserves it for taking my daughter away! My brother, Lucifer, gets up and obtains his balance, but I punch his stomach and push the red button on the device.
All of the women open their eyes.
"What happened?" Ivanna asks.
"Did we escape yet?" asks another blonde, but with hair that reaches the floor.
They all start asking questions. Some of them scream at me until Ivanna mentions that she knows me and that I'm trying to help them. She even tells them about my daughter.
I rush in the other room and search for any doors, peaking inside. Nothing. No one. My daughter isn't here. But I find a box, the size of a human. Not a coffin, but a human-sized box. Quickly I look for the key to unlocking it, and I find it beneath the mattress. When I unlock it I see a blonde girl with blue eyes and lightly tanned skin. She's okay. She's alive, my daughter.
Hastily I go back with my daughter in my hands and see Ivanna leading the other robots out of the mansion. Some stay behind to thank her. Lucifer is lying on the floor as if he's dead, but I notice another device in his hand.
Lucifer wakes up and gets ready to push a red button. It's not like the device I took from him, I can sense that. It's more... dangerous; deadly.
"Ah... ah..." He tries to speak, but fails.
"Go!" Ivanna yells at us after the last one moves out. "Go now!"
She rips her shirt apart as if trying to show... er...
cleavage... but it turns out to be a bomb where her heart should
be. So that's why she was messing with my tools... "Hurry!
"What about the grenades!?" I ask her.
"I'm going to explode anyway. I might as well take Cecil down with me."
...Huh? "Who's Cecil?"
"The bastard that kidnapped me and made me a robot. Him." She directs her finger at Lucifer.
"That's my brother, Lucifer!"
"Please, just go. You must save your daughter. Hurry." Tears leak out of her eyes.
I thank her and confess that I might like her more than just a friend before escaping the mansion. So far nothing happens. But once I run across the road, a noise and bright light occurs. It gets hotter. When I look back I see the mansion up in flames and being torn down and shattered.
"Daddy," my daughter says, waking up. "I want to thank her, but it's alright. She died saving us just like Mommy died saving you. Don't worry. I won't leave you. I love you, Daddy. It's alright."
"I love you, too, Ivanna." If only I could have Ivanna the robot meet my daughter Ivanna. I smile at her and walk away, taking us back to where our home is. Where my daughter's new home is and where we will now stay.
