I have a question for you. How do you survive when all of humanity is gone? There is no power, no water and no food. Have an answer? Good please tell me because I don't have a clue. Now that has been established I will inform you that I am writing this journal in the hope that someone will find it in the distant future and can see what life was like when the human race was brought to its knees.
I mentioned no water. How? You ask, well when the Earth fell the fallout from the weapons used was sufficient to contaminate all the water in the world. I have survived by ether stealing bottled water from the remains of old supermarkets or boiling off river water then drinking in small amount, still not sure if it is safe. Food is also becoming an issue I haven't eaten in four days. All the food at the supermarket I raided was rancid or inedible. With all the walking I am doing per day I need to find some food soon or I will die.
Lack of food is not the only thing to worry me, it took me three days just to find a working pen, I have not seen another human being though all my travels. From Cardiff to Newcastle not a single person, I am currently travelling north to Ayr then on to Glasgow to see if I can find any one. From there I will head to Edinburgh to find what I imagine will be the remains of my family.
Time to stop writing and hit the road again, setting off from the remains of Newcastle town centre.
