Third shift aboard a star ship cruiser on a colonization mission to a distant planet every deck, every passage, and every room aboard the cruiser is bathed in red light. This is supposed to simulate night for the crew, who are all asleep except the one who pulls Third Shift. The one shift where you are the only one awake, and there is no one to turn to for help. Your responsibility is to man the sensor monitors and look for collision course asteroids or "Bergs" as the crew likes to call them. There has never been a collision before, and nothing has every gone wrong until now …
