The talent for poetry came by accident, some 5 years back. I had wriiten a fan-fiction story for Xena:Warrior Princess, to be posted on one of the sites for the show. To which, this day I still enjoy watching when I can. I let one of my friend's take the two spiral notebooks home, and let her girlfriend proof read it for me. Then two weeks later, she gave me the notebooks, and an envelope. It contained a long note. And to be honest, the criticism I got was rather positive, in a way. The woman said the passion was there for the story, but it wasn't going in any direction, scattered, I think was what she said. Then, I read the positive aspect of it all.

 She said, that I had a natural talent for poetry. The funny thing is, back then I did not like to read or write poetry, and I didn't. But now, it's a 365 degree turn around. The, Xena: Warrior Princess story is still around, packed away. It's been proof read once, the woman did not touch pen to paper. The story is an original copy, original paper, etc. I have not done any more, to the story. My new passion is poetry, I am very flattered at all the positve things, that's been said about my poems. For you see, I have posted poems on two sites, on the internet. Herbard, a f/f site. I got good response there, the owner gave me my own poem place there, I posted at least 20 or so poems. I went back one day to check my place there, and the owner took it down. Why? who knows. The other site is Passion and Perfection, another f/f site, this fan-fiction I prefer over any other, I turn that way.

 I entered a poetry contest sept of 05, nothing came of it. Entered the same contest march 06, got the editor's choice award for may 06. Entered a third time, aug 06, received the editor's choice award for oct 06. I forgot, I did 4 times, I am a semi-finalist in the contest, for the end of nov 06. I've been wanting to be discovered, I guess now I have. My dream is to a writer for television, and a director, since I know quite a bit of how they do it behind the camera.

 Before I end this letter, I wanted to say that I've tried my poems on my girlfriend. People say I have a way with words, my words move you. I tend to write in the first- person, more than I do any other, I like free verse, no matter how you write a poem, it's still a poem. Like, Seven of Nine always said or Quark that said . My poems moved her, she told me that my words made her feel and moved her, in no other way possible, now there's a comment for ya.
