This poem is one I wrote about the children in...
I have been a soldier for three years. I grew up in a small town surrounded by prairie. I joined the Army on June 09, 2009 after I aduated high school so I could have a way to understand the path my life should lead. I was deployed to Afghanistan from July 24, 2010 until July 23, 2011 and have seen things that contradicted a lot of stories I have seen on the news. Where I was, I learned so much from the people that live in that country and also gained respect for them.
My hobbies are sword fighting, karate, ninjutsu, riding horses, hanging out with friends, and camping.
