I have too many jobs! :( Which is ironic, because last year I was complaining that I didn't have any. Looks like reading requests and writing is gonna be a little bit on the slow side I'm afraid, folks.

I never really know what to write on these bio/summary sections so I'm going to make it short and sweet.
I'm from England. I've just recently turned nineteen years old and I'm currently studying Marketing, Advertising and Communications at the University of Gloucestershire. I picked it because it sounds a lot cooler to say than what it actually is. Yeah. I should have probably thought more carefully about that.
My favourite colour is black. Most people say that's not a colour; it's a shade, and they're correct. It is a shade. But so is dark blue. And that's a colour too. So, mainly to save time and avoid arguments, I just say my favourite colour is blood red. And that is also a shade. Haters.
I prefer winter over summer; night over day.
I prefer being too cold than too hot and too busy than too idle.
I have depression and I have hyperactivity.
I have sleeping pills and I have caffeine tablets.
I love writing. I wanted to be a journalist when I was a LOT younger and started writing stories when I was in junior school. I've had two poems published in the "Young Writers" books (I have the books and certificates to prove it). I normally end up proof reading all my friends university coursework and assignments for them. As geeky as it may sound, I love doing it.

The White Truth was originally written for booklove18's Summer Romance challenge but I also entered it in Hannah Breene's competition and won second place. A heart-warming short story that will capture your heart and imagination as Katherine is probed to painstakingly remember what she has forgotten. Only when the light has been lifted will the truth be revealed. Be warned, tissues may be needed in reading this story!

This was originally based on a day-dream that I had and thought it would be a fantastic short story. However, once I started writing it down on paper and adding detail, I realised that it would probably be better to write it in chapters. Another heart-warming carefree romance story about a young 23-year old girl called Rosie, an only child who lives with her mother. Pressured by society to find a suitable spouse, she meets the man of her dreams but in a twist of circumstances, they are seperated and Rosie is left wondering whether they will ever be reunited or whether he will remember her.

When the end is nigh, you need all the friends you can get; you need a friendly shoulder to cry on, you need a familiar face to console you. So when the world comes crashing down, just remember you're never alone; there'll always be someone there at the end.
