every person like a car has a long road before him
and they both know nothing, how many bumps are there going to be
but one thing i know it is dead certain
you must have money and gasoline

and after few of the miles the road starts twistin and turnin
and the wheel gets harder to hold
keep your eyes loud wide open and hold on dear darlin
or youll go straight off the road

and your wheels keep turnin
the miles keep commin
and soon youl reach the end of your road
but do not and cry, when you reach the end of the line
the journey matters more than the goal

now on your way you see a hichhiker, in the cold to the side
slam on your brakes, its no mistake
because one day, youll be the one who does cry
hello dear fellow, where are you going, I dont know he replies
neither do I, come into my life,
all i know the journey is long, and i'd like to talk

and your wheels keep turnin
the miles keep commin
and soon youl reach the end of your road
but do not and cry, when you reach the end of the line
the journey matters more than the goal

if you now ask, what is the journey about
you little poor soul, how can we know
forget all the question and start enjoying the ride
