It’s your child
Even if your child never grows, to be the man you’d like him to be.
Don’t break your heart, don’t be judgemental that is his choice
And if he takes the path that leads to crime, don’t blame his friends; he has his own mind!
He’ll want you there, it’s not your fault, he’s made his decision.
Let him know that you don’t approve of his ways
There’s no future ,guns knives, crime doesn’t pay.
Gangsters end up knifed, shot, killed everyday.
You don’t want to see him die this way; time to heed what you say.
Even when your child never grows, to be the woman you’d like her to be; stretch forth your arms, you still love her, be there for real.
And in her wayward state, she takes drugs, drinks and steals, or sells her body;
She’s crying out, hoping you’ll hear; she needs to know you’re there.
Let her know she’s only hurting herself, don’t be ashamed.
Tell her you can help her, but she must help herself.
There’ll be such emotion, you’ll both cry and embrace.
She is suffering now; don’t watch her die in your face.
Heed her desperate cry!
Never feel the sun shines no more, because your heart is bitter, torn; you love your child and they need you, they need you now.
Inside your heart’s wrenching deep with pain.
