Verse (1)

Here I am once again
Singing the same old song
Feeling the wind wipe against my face
Remembering the last time I was here
Remembering the tears and Goodbyes
I remembering getting into the car
Looking out the back window
Watching the town get smaller and smaller
Every single second that past
With a tear stained face
I croaked out goodbye
To a town I used to know
To a town I know I am safe
And a town I called home

Verse (2)

Here I am once again
Singing the same old song
Remembering the streets
Were I always walk
Remembering th same houses along the roads
Here I am once again
Singing the same old song
I'm walking down the streets
I used to know
Looking at everything I Knew just to well
Looking at every name that
I didn't forget
Going down these streets
That I feel so good
Even on a cold winters day

Verse (3)

Here I am once again
Singing the same old song
Looking at the parks I used to play at
Looking at the schools I used to learn at
Remembering everything I learned from this town
Hearing the same things I used to hear
Seeing the same people I saw many years ago
Here I am once again
Singing the same old song
With a smile across my face
Feeling home again
Feeling like this were I belong

Final Verse (4)

Here I am once again
Singing the same old song
Singing it like I never sang it before
Singing loudly that everyone can hear
I am back where I belong
This just were I feel so safe and sound
This town is my home
My life
Here I am once again
Singing the same old song
I sang many years before
