Burdened by sorrows this world has given

All the shades of grey
Fill my canvas of life
I paint it bright
But the colors fade away
Lonely in a crowd
Heartless machines dont see me
I try to talk
But there is no time for them busy bees
She runs away
If she sees my empty plate
A glimpse of gold is all she needs
To love me like a saint
Terrible lessons I know
Which I tried to always ignore
I gave this world a chance
That it was right and I was wrong
Salutations to pretty boy's dad
Now he can sit at home; enjoy the fame
Educated beggers will walk the streets
Knocking on doors; turned back on their heels
I carry a burden too much for me
This mountain of sorrows is breaking me
I gave this world a chance, no more
It is foul,filthy and wrong
Everyone is painting
The shades of grey
I try to stop them
But they are overwhelming
The shades of grey
Ruin my canvas of life
They have left their stains
Of corruption and lies
Shades of grey
Till the end of time
