About Me

I am a song writer
In middle of nowhere
Of the world
I so eagerly sought
But I am alone
My words
Are not good enough
I do not fit that bill
Of that perfect poet
I do not write that deep
Meanings are void
That rhythm the great write
Is not within me
Just a song writer
And I am alone
A pity my voice
It is terrible
Or so I have come to believe
In solitary
I try to sing
It sounds good enough
But only to me
Again all alone
Shamed I am
To express
My family knows
I can write
But that will
That will inside
To have my words
Dance in someone's mind
That longing
That desire
No one knows
All alone
And the friends
I confide
These brainstorms
Of mine
Many will salute
But few will read
Fake smiles telling me
Who cares what you write
No one wants to know
You are all alone
And those few
Those chosen few
Blessed souls
They take out time
For my childish write
A pat on the back
A very few I ever had
In this world
That I sought
Yet it's fair to say
I'm almost all alone
And as I sit down
Gather myself
Ask a question
Needs to be answered
Shall I go on?
Pleasing myself
With these tales in my mind
Or open my eyes
To the unavoidable truth
I am a nobody
A song writer
All alone
