Just another song about heartbreak - what's new?

Like Me.

He loves me, oh yeah, he loves me.
With his arms around my neck, saying he couldn't sleep tonight

-, without me.
laying in his arms whispering, that I would never leave.

But tonight, I can't see.
Whether it was just an act or if it was to please me.

'Cause when one door opens another's gone.
You can have her, and have your fun.
I bet she'll be the one you wanted, all this time.

She will let you drink into the morning then,
let you call her saying you need a friend.
She will walk to your place, as you hang your head.
She'll laugh and get you into bed.

I, don't, know. But, this sounds, a lot like me.

He misses me. Oh yeah, he misses me.
Calling me at 3am, saying it was all a mistake.

-, about her.
He says he wishes she was more like me, happy fun and free.

But tonight, I can't see.
Whether it is just an act or if it was to please me.

'Cause when one door opens another's gone.
You can have her, and have your fun.
I bet she'll be the one you wanted, all this time.

She will watch your favourite team in red,
never having to leave the bed.
She'll help you beat your friends at pong,
She will sing and dance, all night long.

I, don't, know. But, this sounds a lot like me.

You had your chance, and your moments gone,
I am not going to hold on.
You loved me, and I loved you.
Maybe if she had knew,
You were my world, my shinning light.
A sweet perfection in every fight.
With the bat of her eye lash, you were gone.
I hope you know, I wrote this song.

'Cause when one door opens another's gone.
You can have her, and have your fun.
I bet she'll be the one you wanted, all this time.

She will hold you and tell you, every things okay.
She will never, ever miss a day.
She will know your 5 smiles, just as well as she knows you.

I, don't, know. But, this sounds a lot like me.
