It was such a long story,
Now its come to an end.
We read the last line,
Then went our separate ways.
Sometimes I forget you,
Sometimes I forgive.
Mostly I just wonder,
How we ever got to this.

If I pretend will this all go away,
If I keep playing games will I forget what to say?
If I close my eyes will we still be friends,
If I make believe will I see you again?
