a prayer for friend

He sits alone at the lunch table. Why does everyone ignore. All his scars. All his friends are here no more. And all his has left has been taken. Hope he doesn't take his life. I see him now ive made up my mind. Gonna change his his life. I take my tray to sit by his side. Asks if hes arlight. Fakes a smile saying hes okay. But that doesn't hide whats underneath. A dying seething pain that keeps going on through the day. Now that i moved from that state. No longer can i speak to him. But i hope he takes in the hope i left. Cause your never leaving him. Even when he has nothing left, anymore. You can heal his scars. Steal his tears from his face. Take back all that was taken away. For him this is how i pray . Hope it changes things, and gives him meaning . Cause i know im living, but hes looks barely breathing. So please hear me tonight. His last resort. To find you is discovering more. And this is what the prayer is for.
