Nostalgia Freak

Poetry By: MrV
Song lyrics

Don't you hate it when people nag about how back in the day things were better?

They should stop complaining and do something that benefits everyone instead, don't you think? :)

Twas time of classics

Twas the Golden Age

The world belonged to the dreamers

The land to the humble and sincere

Even television was worth the time

Where have those days gone

When I could be a child

I've soared too high, can't come down

Time keeps walking and won't stop

Everything moves too fast for me

Slow this madness at once

My shouts are muffled in a corporate hive

The sky is crowded by the dreamers, the humble, and the sincere

No longer with us, and those who walk wander helpess for a sign

Where the stars shined, where the honest walked

Looking back at what's done nostalgia freaks that lost all hope

But time keeps going, the clock of doom hasn't hit the hour

It's time to save the future, leave the past behind

Time to see the beauty, that's beyond those wild hives

Those nostalgia freaks won't bring me down

With head up high, I won't look back

I'll face the end head-on

Because the world belong to dreamers

And I'll carry a generation ahead.
