I love the quiet
We are mutual friends
with peace and simplicity
... with anger and pretends
Quiet and I know the feeling
on hanging on the edge
teetering closely on
a precarious ledge
Chorus
The quiet can mean your alone
The quiet can mean the unknown
The quiet can mean you have grown
But the quiet can mean your alone
Sometimes the quiet is
heavy and full
wieghs you down
back to the earth it pull (s)
Sometimes its light
softer than the air
it is a cleansing
leaves your soul bear
Chorus
Is the quiet a
lifestyle?
That brings happiness
or is it a trial...
Should we who know
what quiet can bring
learn to make some noise
learn to sing?
Bridge
Should we add (more noise)
Should we subtract (from silance poise)
Does silance mean (a lack of trust?)
Does it mean we are (on the cusp?)
Chorus
