HEDUNNIT - The Life Insurance Scam

When she died

He confessed to it

A crime of passion

He admitted it

She never shut up

She screamed and bit

He wanted out

She never wanted it

His previous wife

The one he loved to bits

But because of drugs

They didn't make it

They devised this plan

To become her man

Insure her tits

The beneficiary

Was his first love

They met secretly

In the room above

No one could tell

They put her through hell

And called it love

A crime of passion

Bought him three short years

The crime of passion

With crocodile tears

Out on parole

Who did he call?

The one of previous years

They shared the loot

The interest was good

They lived on high

The years passed them by

And the policy of

taking insurance for love

can make a grown man cry

Only three short years

And then they'd be together

The policy paid out well

They'd be happy forever

And while they live in dreams

Another schemer schemes

and so we watch the weather
