you block it out
you cannot hear

as you walk through a laughing crowd

even though you wish to break
how easy it would be to break
but you know those things that are so uniportant
are key
are vital
to your survival
cause myspace is out and facebook is in
and bootcut is out and skinny is in
and it all must change and rearange
and you dont get any say
cause its just your life thats being torn open
its just your world thats come crumbling down
its just the universe thats falling apart

you are old
shriveled and almost bone
decaying before our eyes
still spinning a web of lies
you dont know

who you really are
i think she was lost long ago
no one said
no one said you'd be full of regret
no one said it would change your life
conforming into a mess
and yet you fight
you fight with death every night
even though we all know
you are long gone

and you cant help but think
what a waste of time
what a waste of life
cause facebook is out and google is in
and skinny is out and flares back again
