Hypocritical Savior

Poetry By: Serenity In Silence
Song lyrics

This is a song that makes no sense until you read the story. But I think it's kind of awesome anyway. I will be making a novel (yeesh!) with the lyrics to this songs, so enjoy, love :)

Sitting here, going slowly insane

Dreaming about dying because I'm in pain

Wondering and hoping that things will change,

But I know they won't, and I guess I'm to blame

Crying, dying slowly inside

Putting on a brave face, saying I'm fine

Just can't wait until I die

Thinking I'm crazy, that I lost my mind

And yet, here I am

Persuading you from using that knife,

Telling you everything's going to be alright

There's more than one scar on my wrist,

And baby believe me I didn't miss

Ended in a hospital multiple times

Because apparently suicide is really a crime

Would've been dead if nobody came

But I guess a suicide puts a family to shame

So there I was in a hospital bed,

Laying there, wishing that I was dead

So now, here I am

Persuading you from using that knife

Lying that everything's going to be alright

And I can't tell you the future, because there's no proof

Probably would be dead if I told you the truth

But it's my job as a friend to sit there and lie

Got to get through this together, it's not our time

But yet, here I am

Persuading you from using that knife

Lying that every little thing's going to be all right

Yes, here I am

Persuading you from using that knife

Lying that every little thing's going to be all right
