God It's No Coincidence

Poetry By: ShaunaLeigh
Song lyrics

It's about an annoying tart who's totally obvious about the fact that she's after your boyfriend. Something I wrote after watching a film with that storyline.

God It's No Coincidence
You think you blow him away
With that smile on your face
There's always something in your eye
You show off while he's by
You're flicking your hair
Exactly when he is there
You're flirting with his friend
But your eyes are over here
I think he can take a hint
He must be feeling really boxed in
It don't look like a coincidence
And you can only smile one time
There's a bit much body contact
He asks "why do her eyes meet mine?"
How do you know his sisters name?
And why were you with his mom?
His friends keep talking about you
And know he knows what's going on
Your brother may have the spy gear
But it won't work out in the end
Soon you'll set your eyes on someone else
But God honey when will you get it?
You're always turning up where he is
How obvious can you get?
That wave was a bit flirtatious
And the friendly kiss a little wet
I think you know the homework assignment
And you're great at creative writing
In your head you're spinning a story
But you'll never get together
You're dominating intimidating
You get what you want
And when you want it
But he won't give in
He's also stubborn
Just give up and go home
You weren't made for each other
There are only so many times you can 'get the wrong number'
And no he won't give his email address
His inbox is full enough already
Without getting fifty a day
You're always turning up where he is
How obvious can you get?
That wave was a bit flirtatious
And the friendly kiss a little wet
I think you know the homework assignment
And you're great at creative writing
In your head you're spinning a story
But you'll never get together
No you'll never get together
Set your eyes on someone else
Guess what I saw him first
