I did something I regret
And I want to say sorry
For that stupid thing I did
Yes I’m apologising
But you’re not replying
Please forgive
I can’t live with this guilt
Yes the loud independent girl
Finally toned it down
She’s not as proud as in the past
She’s let go of her crown
Yes I’ve got human instincts
They came through in the end
I finally feel guilty
But at least I admit it
Have you ever felt
Like fate is against you
And that timing never agrees
If only I’d accept
This is as far as we’ll get
It’d be easier
But I’m not gonna
No you’re not co operating
You won’t let it go
You’re much much too stubborn
Putting on this big show
Won’t you make an exception?
For me and only me
Just this once could you?
Please for me
I’ve never been this persuasive
Since my life depended on it
But now it seems that’s just a fraction
Of this here right now
Won’t you please?
Forgive me
Pride doesn’t matter
It’s the thing you always brought up
Well look at me
Now I’m on my knees
There’s a crowd gathering
But I’m still not budging
Do you enjoy having?
This over me
Well that’s just sick
You’re taking over everything
Yes I deserve to suffer
For what I did
But how long will it take?
Before you are satisfied
And you accept
My apology
