Nothing lasts forever
So let’s enjoy it while we can
A well known answer
Everyone’s quick to understand
Try to hold it all together
But it’s so hard to breathe
While I’m juggling everything
Multitasking don’t come close
Get out of my head
Just leave me alone
I can’t hear myself think
I don’t get lonely
Not glad of the company
Why is everyone thoughtful?
Some people enjoy
Just being with themselves
And no one else
I want to be left alone
Close the door so tightly
And cover up the cracks
So that they can’t look through
And I can be all by myself
And they don’t understand
Crowds can be tiring
I don’t know how to
Even start to explain
You know when you’re quiet
They always think
Something’s wrong
And interrupt your
Never ending train of thought
And you’ve got to go
Back to the start
You try to to remember
But some things only last once
A dream too good to ever relive
So much that you
Begin to regret it
Just leave me alone
I can’t hear myself think
