Around and around on a merry go round

we've all went and hit the ground

hoping that we don't drown

while stuck here in the mud.

Watch out, hey there, we all go

rolling down a hill

but we won't go slow

We've fallen off of our rolling stone

breaking all our backs

to build a new home.

Up and down on a real tall slide

when we're up there we can't hide

so we take a ride

down and back up the ladder.

Watch out, hey there, we all go

rolling down a hill

but we won't go slow

We've fallen off of our rolling stone

breaking all our backs

to build a new home.

Back and forth up on the monkey bar

going a little ways don't get far

falling a bone to jar

to try it one more time.

Watch out, hey there, we all go

rolling down a hill

but we won't go slow

We've fallen off of our rolling stone

knowing the other way back

was the other way home.
