When I’m up and pacing
Writing on a page
Filled with words of pain

While my face burns
But my head hurts
To think all of these things

With this heart of glass

Verse2) Sleep does not come easy
To a soul so weary
Of being alone
Sick of being home
When there’s no one by your side
How can you not cry?
How can you trust someone
Who might take your heart and run?
But you still have faith
And decide to wait
But will he understand all of this?
