About letting go.

My heart feels like the winter; it's white, but it's cold.

Regret lives on inside of me, but we're both getting old.

I've been down this road time and time before.

You'd think I'd have learned my lesson by now.

But I guess I'm just a fool for things like this.

Yeah I guess I'm just a fool for things like this.

I hope you know I love you, girl, and that probably won't change anytime soon.

But there's a man inside of me, longing to break free.

So I let you go and return to the only hope I've ever known.

I want you to know that I'd wait for you to come around, but this pain has to go.

You should know this song's for you.

I won't sit here looking out the window and watch my life pass by.

God knows I've done enough sitting to last for the lifetimes of you and I.

Sometimes I wish I could turn back time,

'cause the me that I am hates the me that I've been,

But I guess I'm just a fool for things like this.

Yeah I guess I'm just a fool for things like this.

Well I hope you know I miss you, girl, and that comes from time to time.

But there's a man inside of me longing for new life

So I let you go and return to the only hope I've ever known

I want you to know that I'd wait for you to come around, but this pain has to go.

You should know this song's for you.

Oh, how I wish I could turn back the hands of time.

I can't take back all the worlds I said or the things I've done

Trust me, I would if I could erase your pain.

But it seems I can't erase your pain.

So I let you go and return to the only hope I've ever known.

I want you to know that I'd wait for You to come around, but this pain has to go.

Well my heart feels like the winter; it's white, but it's cold.

Regret lives on inside of me, and we're both getting old.

The me that I am hates the me that I've been;

I think I have learned my lesson this time,

And I won't let this pain win my soul.

No, I won't let you win.
