The Royal Rumble is the send-off for superstars who will be of great importance throughout the year. This year, we had some fantastic matches, and I was astounded by how deep they were. So without further ado, here is my list of predictions for the outcomes of each individual match, and the results of those matches.
Pre-Show: The Miz VS Antonio Cesaro ©: United States Championship
Prediction: The Miz.
Winner: Antonio Cesaro
World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio © VS The Big Show
Prediction: Alberto Del Rio. Ziggler cashes in.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
WWE Unified Tag Team Championships: Team Hell No! © VS Rhodes Scholars
Prediction: Rhodes Scholars.
Winner: Team Hell No!
WWE Championship: The Rock VS CM Punk ©
Prediction: The Rock.
Winner: The Rock
The Royal Rumble was an amazing match, and many superstars caught my eye. Before the PPV, I listed ten superstars of whom I think could have won the Royal Rumble match. Please don't be displeased about me picking ten superstars, as this IS IN FACT such a huge match, and many surprises were expected to come.
Here are my ten possible winners:
Ryback (Dominant force, Punk VS Ryback again)
John Morrison (Return of an epic superstar)
John Cena (They will probably have Cena win for fans)
Brock Lesnar (Wrestlemania poster advertises Brock, Cena and Rock)
Chris Jericho (Return of Jericho, but win this time)
Randy Orton (Always one of the best)
Wade Barrett (Future champion, Intercontinental Champion)
Kofi Kingston (Needs a push to Main Event status)
Sheamus (Strong, get back on top)
Santino Marella (Almost defeated Daniel Bryan at Elimination Chamber in 2012)
Winner: John Cena
I would also like to point out that I am disappointed that there were not any more matches, even small ones. I would have loved to see Wade Barrett and Kofi Kingston battle it out again for the Intercontinental Championship, and Kaitlyn, and her following divas being part of the show. Also, Dolph Ziggler really needs to cash in that MiTB briefcase.
QUESTION: Did you get the results you expected?
MY ANSWER: No, some of the matches, maybe. Not all of them.
