Wrestlemania 28 Matches And Picks

Remember that the following information is in my opinion, so do not fight me over what I write. if you have an argument you would like me to read, put a link to it in the comments section. I check regularly.

World Heavyweight Championship:

Daniel Bryan VS Sheamus.

Daniel Bryan has held onto the World Heavyweight Championship ever since he cashed in his Money In The Bank Briefcase on an unsuspecting Big Show at TLC in late 2011. He has turned heel (from my POV) and is doing anything possible to weasel his way out of matches, while getting the win.

Just recently, he faced Sheaums (Smackdown Prior to the Elimination Chamber) and poked him in the eye while the referee wasn't looking, he than spat in Sheamus' eyes several times until Sheamus got too angry and started belting in to him, than when the referee tried to stop him, Sheamus threw him away to keep hurting Bryan. The winner was Daniel Bryan.

My Verdict: Sheamus Def. Daniel Bryan by Celtic Cross or Brough Kick.

New World Heavyweight Champion.

Hell In A Cell Match:

The Undertaker (streak on the line) VS Triple H.

The Undertaker returned close to the Elimination Chamber PPV. He is doing whatever he can to influence Triple H to face him at Wrestlemania 28. Triple H said that it wouldn't be good for buisness, but despite what they fought about, in the end Triple H agreed to the match, but on one condition, it be a Hell In A Cell Match. The reason he chose this match was because they are both legends in the cell, and that is the factor that will play through until their last match. We all know that Triple H is the COO of the WWE, which means even if he loses, he will still be a big part of the WWE, and probobly end Takers' career. If The Undertaker wins he will excell to 20-0 at Wrestlemania. This would not effect Triple H that much, as he has already lost to The Undertaker at Wrestlemania on 2 other occasions. Undertaker could retire at 20-0, or come back at Wrestlemania 29 and face off against someone, lose, than that helps the person who loses gain momentum in their respective career. Shawn Michaels has also been a big topic during the debates, and I see Shawn becoming the Special Guest Referee in the match (of course we can't have an EPIC Wrestlemania without Mr. Wrestlemania himself).

My Verdict: The Undertaker Def. Triple H.

The Undertaker leaves on stretcher again, with Triple H helping him. Handshake before leave.

WWE Championship:

CM Punk VS Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho has been a hot topic on Twitter as of late. He released a series of Cryptic videos (It Begins Promos) and we were forced to work out who and what these messages were about. I made a video (before he returned) of who I thought would return (check out my Youtube channel-sosnh). I guessed he would return, and as his promos said, he was back to change the world as we know it. He is doing that now. Fans of the WWE have been fantasising about the WM fued of Y2J VS CM Punk. It was confirmed on the Raw after Elimination Chamber when Chris won a Battle Royal to become the No. 1 contender for the WWE title. Jericho has claimed that Punk stole his line-"I am the best in the world at what I do". He has been attacking CM Punk for weeks, and Punk has taken it like a man. Not a lot can said about CM Punk, as there has not been a lot of talk as of yet.

My Verdict: CM Punk Def. Chris Jericho

Jericho goes for the Code Breaker but Punk picks him up into the Go To Sleep (GTS).

Money In The Bank Match: Previous Champions Edition:

Dolph Ziggler VS Zack Ryder VS Jack Swagger VS Kofi Kingston VS Kane VS The Miz VS Alberto Del Rio VS Christian

This is a match that a lot of fans have been asking for. I think it would be a great additon to the PPV. A lot of these guys would have a good spot in the match. Kofi would be flying around. Alberto will be doing complicated techniques and Jack will be running around giving Suplex's to people.

My Verdict: I see Dolph Ziggler winning, and using it to cash in on the WWE Championship.

Intercontinental Championship

The Big Show VS Cody Rhodes VS Shaq

Everybody has been asuming that Shaq will be facing The Big Show at Wrestlemania. Well, at the moment it does not seem like this is a possible scenario, as he is in a fued with Cody Rhodes. I think this will span out into a Triple Threat Intercontinental Championship match.

Cody has been showing Wrestlemania moments of The Big Show losing. I think this will anger The Big Show.

My Verdict: The Big Show Def. Shaq & Cody Rhodes

The Big Show becomes the new Intercontinental Champion. with a Knock Out Punch.

Diva's Match: 8 Diva's:

Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox, Tamina Snuka, KaitlynVS Beth Pheonix, Natalya, Eve Torres, Maxine

This match has not been scheduled as of yet, but WWE never seem to have a Diva's Championship Match at Wrestlemania, they tend to have a match involving a bunch of Diva's. I added Beth as she is champion, facing off against Tamina. I added Natalya to face off against Alicia Fox, Kelly to face Eve & Maxine VS Kaitlyn. These girls have separate fights all the time, and now that Eve is heel, I can see this match shaping up.

My Verdict: Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox, Tamina Snuka, Kaitlyn Def. Beth Pheonix, Natalya, Eve Torres, Maxine

I see Tamina hitting the Snuka Headbutt on Beth to win.

Never Before, Never Again:

The Rock VS John Cena

This match was confirmed shortly after Wrestlemania 27. It all started with The Rock returning to Sports Entertainment to be the Special Guest Host of Wrestlemania 27. The main event was John Cena VS The Miz for the WWE Championship. We all had known that these two men dispised each other, but Dwayne "The Rock" Johnston brought it inside of the ring. He Rock Bottomed The Miz and John Cena during their match, wrecking the PPV's main event. I hated that match, and I dispise The Rock for it. He ruined it. Anyway, the Raw after Wrestlemania, it was confirmed that at Wrestlemania 28, John Cena would face The Rock in a Never Before, Never Again match. An era VS an era. Icon VS Icon. The stage is set for them to face in a few weeks, and John Cena has had a trumendously hard time getting here, after being involved with the whole "Embrace The Hate" storyline with Kane. I also hope Kane does not interfere in the match, otherwise, like last year, the PPV will be ruined, and I can bet that a lot of people would turn off the WWE if this match does not happen straight down the middle. During last year's 25th anniversary of Survivor Series, The Rock teamed up with John Cena in a Never Before, Never Again Tag team match against Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth). This was practise for the pair of them going into Wrestlemania with some momentum. They won, but barely, and the PPV was let down because of it. The WWE blamed The Miz for the sales, but in all truth, it was The Rock And John Cena who blew it.

MY VERDICT: John Cena Def. The Rock

John will do the whole "You Can't See Me" thing (5 Knuckle Shuffle) and then connect with the Attitude Adjustment. Though I think they will take a couple of finishers to each other before one or the other wins.

That is all I have to say, and I hope you all enjoy Wrestlemania as much as I hope to enjoy it.

Thank You-Shane O'Sullivan.

Comment with any links to discussions you want me to look at.

NOTE: Since writing this, we have found out that some of these matches will not take place, and are replaced with other ones. For example, Kane will face Randy Orton. Go to Youtube and look up "sosnh" and find the Wrestlemania Shane's Picks Video.I talk about what has happened leading up to WM 28, and what my picks would be. Some of them may have changed.
