Silent Battles

The rush of the adrenaline
Crashing, crushing
Engulfing nervous muscles
Bunching, burning
Hearts start beating faster
Thumping, thrumming
Explosion from dead starters
Forcing, Flying

All is left behind

Another fallen enemy
Praying, pushing
Final deprivation
Gasping, grasping
At last exhaltation
Silent smiling
