5 Rings to Rule them all.........

Arriving from the East - The Olympic bandwagon is in town,
London the hosts, we won't let anyone down.

Much time has elapsed since the Olympic election,
The scene at Trafalgar of ecstatic elation.

Our leaders assembled - Cameron, Johnson & Co(e), A jubilant outcome - now our countries on show.

An opportunity to deliver an incredible Games, The curtain raiser entrusted to a solitary flame.

A nation holds its breath - we all expect, We want a games that we can positively reflect.

The stadium, the pool, the water, the courts, Everything is ready for the pinnacle of sports.

Expect excitement, expect the unexpected, Expect firsts and records disrespected.

Competitors young and campaigners old, Will compete for the dream of Olympic Gold.

Who will get top marks, who will get zero.
Stars will fall, from nowhere a hero.

Gold will encourage a nation to rejoice.
The winners will celebrate - their flag a hoist.

'Faster Higher Stronger' the crowd will cheer, The exceptional feats remembered year after year.

With such excitement the winners are a Mystery, Only one thing's for certain, the outcome will create history.

Brazil get is next. A tough nut to crack. We will hand it over - a Legacy intact?

The cheering crowd, roaring to a broken record. Over and over and over and............

5 Rings - ruled them all.
