When I was younger I used to write and write and write, but as I got older I lost the fire and I would write a song here and there. I became a Christian in 1978 and after the birth of my second son, Inspiration started pouring like water back into my parched soul. I started writing songs mostly inspirational songs and I have written 63 songs in all. I am presently making videos for Youtube and HigherPraiseTube and enjoying it very much. I have had a dry spell for some 10 years and I am trying to wait on God because He is my source of inspiration. I had three parakeets, Pickles, Blueberry and Snowflake, which met untimely deaths except for Snowflake who flew away. I have acquired 4 more parakeets, Huckleberry, Tickles, PeePee and Powder. I guess you are wondering how PeePee got her name? Well, when we first got her she was really scared and my husband was taking a piss in our bathroom when I made the mistake of trying to get her. She flew and landed right in the bowl. Poor little thing had to get a bath and that is how she got her name. I also have six children, most of them grown and two grandchildren. I often find myself in a tug of war with my attentions being upon family and a desire to express myself. I need to have schedules in line. I haven't written anything new in a while.
