My name is Marji.   

I am 51 and new to this site.   I'm a  retired prostitute with much healing of pains  from such a lifestyle of abusive men ( including my father ) drug abuse & a lot of drinking.

I'm not schooled past 8th grade so I'm sure I'll make a lot of punctuation mistakes, and right now not sure what this site is about.  I've been a member of another site calle E.P. ( experience project ) and have written much of my past.  It's been a dream of mine and through out my years have been told I should write a book. 

They recently switched the entire lay out / look of the site, and because I'd been so used to the old and I abhor changes I deleted five years and thousands of " posts" .  So, I'm looking for a new  " home"  and maybe as they say " when a window closes a door opens". Maybe this is all meant to be so I can get my dream out there !   

My story is filed with with not so much of anything new really. but  a personal glimpse into the life of a 14 year old run away.  A teen from Iowa who through such a wide array of experiences mostly painful both physically and emotionally & who still, at 51 with 26 years of finally true love .......still struggles with the past yet realizes her blessings . 

Intrigued yet ?    Probably not, this may just interest no one but me.   

 Don't get me wrong, I have some very happy memories including a happier now than I dared to dream of.   

I have always been one to share my gained wisdom throughout my life and you'll see me commenting, not on a persons " writing skills" or lack of, as I'm not  so great myself, but I will try to lend some advise on life.
