So I had met this guy and I really liked him from the moment I saw him, but then we became friends, and even best friends. But I couldn't take him off my mind, so one day I wrote this poem for him, and we decided we better keep it as a friendship for now.

These words came to me while I was in the hospital. I spent 18 days. I had part of my liver removed due to cancer. I ended up going downhill after the surgery. It was a very difficult time.
I recall saying many prayers. This one, is the one that stayed with me.
This is just a short story that I had to write in my english class today and my friends all said that I should post it. It is kind of sad but it's not about me. The brief we were given when we were writing our stories was that it had to have something to do with being an outsider or feeling like one
