This is a poem that was written for elizabethrose's Poetry Competition. This is about a time in my life which I absolutely tresure and will always remember for the rest of my life.
This poem focuses around a young girl infatuated by a pair of striking emerald eyes. The poem unfolds as the girl speaks of the eyes drawing her in and leaving her powerless. Her love for the owner of the eyes also becomes apparent throughout this piece.
