Birth of a child in a manger, oh so long ago. The Child's Name is to be Jesus. A father celebrates the birth of the child by bringing gifts.
It's about the wish, to create something everyone will know. To be known forever. The craving for fame. The acknowledgement one deserves.
A metaphoric description and definition of both life and death as it relates to our beginning of life on earth and the end of life when we pass away.
The title says it all...this is a poem about the birth of my son. He was born 12/28/1992 via C-Section. Written October 22, 1998.
Material things are great, but they eventually disappear and you can't take them with you everywhere you go, but memories are precious and different. You can take them with you wherever you go.
