A poem I wrote about a break up from a while ago.
How an affair between a married woman and a married man evolved into even worse deceit and betrayal.
By Janet Lopez
This is a poem written metaphorically to express the feeling of getting your heart broken by someone you once loved
This is a break up that's fresh on my mind. I am still hurting somewhat. I feel betrayed and alone. I'm done letting people make me a fool.
So this is kind of how I felt and now feel about someone special. Someone who has had a much bigger and better impact on my life than I think they'll ever realize. Though the relationship has changed I'm glad I had it.

I wrote this when I was completely and utterly heart broken, (hah, I'm a teenager... Story of my life) and basically was about my revenge on the Zach. Not a very professional poem, and not one of my better works... But still something I love.

How could the girl of my dreams turn my world into such a nightmare?
My best friend left me, she was the love of my life, my support, and the most important part of my world. I lost sight of us and she slowly slipped away. Now she is gone, I am reflecting back on who I am and what I did. I miss her more then words can describe.
