I'm no poet, but here's a stab at poetry! It's about the blessing of having someone always there beside you: friend, lover, or even God.

I wrote this poem when i was 17 and in boarding school. I hated the routine of getting up at five in the morning and going to sleep at ten, The sheer monotany of life for two whole years almost drove me mad. I had to pretend to be someone else everyday for wrting poetry and that too in english...

"I breathe you like I'm taking my last breath."
I take you in with everything I have.
I never want you to go.
If only you could hold on.
You are my air; you are the oxygen I breathe. You are the sails to my boat; you are the piece of my heart I've been missing. How could I ever let you go? How could I survive without you?
to see your dying
and feel you twitch
on pristine bays
Apple and Spice's fragrance
permeates the air
Dancing round in the bar,
flirting with the guys.
Beating them at games of pool,
