This is a very small sample of work that I have recently been working on. Critiques would be great. I really want to improve my writing in so many ways.
This is basically about a teenager who considers herself lifeless, and often finds herself stuck in her own thoughts.
The world has just ended.
As her and her granddaughter fly away from it safely in a spaceship, an elderly woman contemplates the life she had spent on Earth, and considers what to do with the new one she has been granted.
Crushes almost certainly result in pain beyond belief. But when the odd one that comes by on the first crush of your life...
