What other theme would there be on the 1st of December but New Year's? It ticks my boxes of what I wanted to achieve - in no way does it represent my best poetry, but I enjoyed writing it.

Christmas is supposed to be a joyous occasion. Filled with family, friends, and all your loved ones around you. I have all that and more, but I what I donâ€™t have is my boyfriend of two years Bradley. You see, Bradleyâ€™s in the army, he has been throughout our entire relationship....
